En regardant le film j'ai eu du mal à voir ulysse pénélope télémaque etc je voyais juste les grands acteurs hollywoodiens en cosplay mythologie grecque
Oh, look at me, I'm Tom Holland. I'm married to Zendaya. I did an all-time epic with Nolan. Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon say I'm the best boy. My 4th Spider-Man movie is shattering global box office records. I did the greatest lip sync of all time. I look like THIS.
if you spend all day at a fish market, you’ll leave smelling like fish, even if you never touched one
but spend your day in a perfume shop and you’ll carry the scent even if you didn’t buy anything, that’s how environment works. it rubs off, whether you realize it or not. stay around complainers and everything starts to look negative. stay around excuse makers and growth feels optional but get around people who move with purpose, you’ll feel it.
get around people who live in gratitude, you’ll start to see differently. the scent of your environment will always follow you.
The thing that pisses me off most about Matt Damon and Ben Affleck is that people don’t realise just how clever, curious, and thirsty for knowledge they actually are.
They’re genuinely really fucking smart.
This is Tom DeLonge, the lead singer of Blink-182, and the dude who wrote the song the entire stadium is singing. No one around him seems to notice he is there (except the camera person)
That’s gotta be one of the greatest feelings to see this stadium full of people chanting your bands song.
You need boredom. A lot of it. Start by going on walks without music. No stimulation. No distractions of any kind. If you learn to sit with your own thoughts, for long enough, in time they will start serving you. You'll start having ideas once again. You'll start developing an extreme sense of clarity that will shift you into the next stage of your life. All by being bored, which is pretty insane.
George Orwell worried that a shrinking vocabulary would eventually produce a shrinking range of thought.
It is difficult to think a nuanced thought with a blunt language.
the thing abt climate change is that the earth will be fine, it always has been. it used to be a ball of volcanic ash and primordial soup. we however will not be fine
