🪷Broadcast Across 5 Major Ganga Ghats: For the first time, legendary broadcaster Birendra Krishna Bhadra's iconic Mahishasurmardini recital will be broadcast live over public sound systems at 5 prominent ghats along the Hooghly (Ganges):

🪷 Ghats Decked with Festive Lights: Waterfront pavilions and promenade corridors have been illuminated and decorated to welcome devotees offering traditional Tarpan rituals at dawn amidst the sacred chants of Chandi Path.

🪷 A Community Celebration: While families traditionally tune in to radios and local neighborhood sound systems at dawn, this civic initiative brings the timeless emotion of Mahalaya directly to citizens gathered along the sacred riverbanks.

During @AITCofficial rule, only songs written by @MamataOfficial used to be heard across ghats. Under @BJP4Bengal Kolkata is reconnecting with it's roots.
