@d_mulder A7: In one of our first articles it said that everything is God-made, so God has given us technology for a purpose. Technology should be used to honor God. Along with our Christian beliefs, we should instill good practices with our students #DU508

@d_mulder A6: we should teach the technologies and sites that engage students. I have used certain activities on technology that have confused students, and then it disengages them. I want student to invest in their learning, so that is important in choosing a site #DU508

@d_mulder A5: I believe that we should put technology away when we need to make a personal connection or answering to something. For example, in Bible class I require many personal reflections. Technology cannot help them think about themselves #DU508

@d_mulder A4- as Educators, we need to be continuous learning as well. Even if that means adapting to the technology that is presented. It does not need to be the center of our teaching, but if we want students to be able learn, we as educators also need to be willing to learn.

@d_mulder A3: From the readings this week, it seems that technology has the answer to almost everything and can be used as an important tool. But technology cannot make the connections with students, and the connections are one of my favorite things about teaching. #DU508

Olds “the brain has the ability to reprogram itself on the fly, withering the way it functions.” -Nicholas Carr #DU508 it is crazy to think that our brains can alter themselves in how we look for information. I see students look for immediate answers, but do I do that myself? 🧐

@d_mulder A.1-Even though I am both a digital native and digital immigrant, technology is continuously changing, and there is so much to learn! Even people like myself who are not tech-savvy can learn more about technology by being open minded #DU508
