Johnny Somali, who falsely attaches "Somali" to his name despite being Ethiopian 🇪🇹, has another Twitter account called @HabeshaCapital. If you Google what Habesha means, it tells you that Habesha peoples is an ethnic or pan-ethnic identifier that has been historically employed to refer to Semitic language-speaking and predominantly Orthodox Christian peoples found in the highlands of Ethiopia and Eritrea between Asmara and Addis Ababa, and this usage remains common today. This alone is proof that he is not Somali.
Back in February 2023, he messaged the owner of the @JohnnySomali handle using his @HabeshaCapital account in order to try and buy the account from them. I assume the owner of the @JohnnySomali handle never responded to him or declined his offer, which is why he settled on the username @SomaliJohnny instead.
On the @HabeshaCapital account, he made tweets about "taking over the content game" and posted a tweet with a link to one of his videos on YouTube. He was also tweeting/retweeting a lot of tweets about Ethiopia. Johnny Somali has admitted in the past that he can't speak Somali, and when people have questioned him about this further, he ignores them. One of the tweets he retweeted was a tweet from the PM of Ethiopia written in Amharic, which is one of the official languages in Ethiopia. Does that mean he can speak Amharic? I took screenshots of those tweets because he has since deleted all the tweets from that account that link him back to Johnny Somali. #johnnysomali #ョニーソマリ #suspendas #Japan #Thailand
@johnnysosmally There’s a chance he might know if he’s been interacting with other prisoners since some of them would likely be more familiar with the Korean justice system than he is, especially because he can communicate more easily with the other foreigners detained there.
@canceljohnnys When I heard Legal Mindset claim that conditions in a South Korean detention center are worse than what Vitaly experienced in a Philippine prison, I LOL’d 🤣. They want to convince the viewers that he is going through the absolute worst just to give them a sense of satisfaction.
@ChrisNgo1988@johnnysosmally He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, which would make him American. The only thing Arab about him is his last name, and he isn’t Muslim either.
@johnnysosmally He’s not a Muslim. He has actually insulted Muslims and Islam multiple times. He also wanted to stream at a mosque in Japan to harass people there, just like when he went to Al-Aqsa Mosque and harassed Palestinians.
@johnnysosmally I think the whole thing about Alex scamming Johnny Somali by not paying him for the interview was probably staged to make his documentary look more legitimate, but that doesn’t change the fact that Legal Mindset is a sus guy.
@rex_collado@johnnysosmally He has lived his entire life in America and has never been to Africa, despite some claims he has made in the past. He is 100% Ethiopian. In the past, he has claimed to be half Yemeni, half Moroccan, and now he claims to be half Somali or half Jewish. He has an identity crisis.
@johnnysosmally Johnny Somali is finally putting some effort into learning Korean. It’ll come in handy for him in prison. He’ll probably be fluent by the time he gets out.
@baylifee@kurotesuta@Joseph_VI6@mrjeffu Why would Mizkif advocate for the Twitch CEO to unban someone he don’t talk to or care about? And as if you need to be Japanese to call out disrespectful behavior. It’s called having basic respect.

@johnnysosmally Just like Johnny Somali, Mizkif believes that Japanese people are NPCs. This kind of rhetoric has been common among many IRL nuisance streamers.
@johnnysosmally There's also the fact that favoritism is at play. If he had harassed an unknown Twitch streamer, he probably wouldn't have been banned. But when it comes to someone like Mizkif, it's a different story.
Dude, you’re some 50 year old still trying to live out your second childhood. IRL streaming isn’t some lost art form. It’s just walking around with a camera. It’s not that deep, man. 😂
Japan is ruined for IRL. I'm glad I got to experience it early on in 2017/2018 when IRL streaming was still new, but I don't think I ever want to go there for streaming again. The block got hot, it's a mess
