@gtorres1719 Still learning what works best. The the spectrum range is fairly narrow, so I’m not sure how much going slower or lower would extend the range.

The antenna and elevation seem to make the largest difference so far.

@KJ7LLZ @CanadianMakerpr G-Shocks are great as well. Tough and indestructable! If you get an atomic/solar one, it'll always be accurate and the "battery" is never a concern. (as long as the radio signal system is funded and it's on the air... but there are apps that can emulate that)

On which bands are you planning on operating today? Which modes?

Bummed that I can not make contact with the currently active #POTA stations... but that is the charm...and sometimes frustrating part of our hobby.

50th unique park hunted this morning!

Started aiming for at least one QSO a day at the beginning of the stay at home order went into effect and have learned a lot about how far my setup can reach. Also met some great people on the air!

@K8snrJeffrey The one displayed is the 10 meter net frequency. It is setup so techs can particpate as well. (9pm Thursday)

The 6 meter net uses a repeater in the area. 51.70 with a negative offset, 51.20 input and a PL of 192.8Hz. (8pm Thursday)

4,900 miles. New distance PR for a voice QSO for me.

Bummed that 40 meters is acting odd, in that I can not hear POTA stations I could normally reach, so I started spinning the dial on 20.

Surprised how well my 100 watts and a wire did on 20 this morning!
