I can think of no other field besides medicine where you are expected to provide a service despite being verbally abused for 12 hrs by the family receiving that service…. And then be expected to come back again in another 12.

Instead of making patients freeze and sacrificing patient comfort let’s cut that CEO budget a little

@nursekelsey 21 hours - flight nurse. It was my third retrieval for the day and was tasked towards the end of my shift. Pt was delayed being bought by to the airstrip by the ambulance and then was way sicker than was relayed to us so ended up intubating on the tarmac. Long flight back!
