@Nellypotbelly@chelseahartisme Regardless of your ‘life experience’ they’ve done a lot in spreading awareness for Iran, so maybe stick to more important Twitter battles?
One random Iranian to another.
This is what we mean when we say people work for the regime.
People are chanting “death to the regime” not “respect me regime”
This man legitimises a government that is committing internationally recognised war crimes while pretending to care about dying Iranians. Truly sick.
For people preaching unity, and saying we should listen to dissenting voices…the dissenting voice in this is the Islamic Republic. The unity should come from the fact that we will all help Iranians get rid of the IRI. You’re either with the people or you’re with the regime.
Noteworthy from #Iran’s chief justice and former MOIS minister as energy workers go on strike: “I am ready. Let’s talk. If we’ve made mistakes, we can reform them.” But consider his record: this is a man who once literally bit a reporter. #MahsaAmini
Sarina Esmailzadeh, 16, beaten to death by Iranian security forces for protesting for women’s rights in Iran. Nika Shakarami, 16, killed after burning her headscarf in protest. Hadis Najafi, 23, shot multiple times during demonstrations sparked by the death of Mahsa Amini, 22,
Iran’s protests may well be the first time in history that women have been both the spark and engine for an attempted counterrevolution, @wright comments.

doing with regards to reproductive rights in the U.S. Iranian girls are getting their skulls bashed in for not wearing a hejab. Where in the U.S. are government forces bashing in women’s skulls for their pro-choice stance? It’s not the same thing. Please stop misleading Americans
I need to reiterate how problematic & inaccurate .@Ilhan’s statement on Iran was. Girls are standing up to the brutal theocracy, not their teachers. She mentioned the ‘woman life freedom’ chant but not the ‘death to the dictator’ that follows it. Then compares it to what R’s are
Today in Iran, workers strike at Bushehr Petrochemical, chanting “Do not fear, do not fear, we are all together.” Striking oil workers played a critical role in the 1979 revolution. https://t.co/gwLmD5jt5q
“Bloody Friday” of Iran: At least 82 protesters and bystanders, including children, have been killed in Zahedah, Sistan & Baluchistan province. Many victims were shot in the back of their heads or torso.

The rising death toll is an alarming indication of just how ruthless the Iranian authorities’ assault on human life has been under the darkness of the internet shutdown. UN member states must urgently set up an independent investigative mechanism.
