Pro-tips reviewing tips from my mentors that you can't find in an official guide (relevant for #CHI2024 reviews):
1) Use "paper-first" language. We evaluate *this version* of the paper, not the authors. E.g., opt for "the paper does not address X" vs "authors did not do X".

The last few days have had me reflecting on my own research and teaching practice, especially as I’m starting my new job at #uwaterloo next week. As I plan out my course, I will include more feminist, queer and bipoc design theory into my teaching practice. We can all do better.
