@lakshyalark I bought the iPhone 18 Pro on launch day for this reason after having Plus/Pro Max iPhones for the last 12 years, but exchanged it yesterday for an 18 Pro Max because I could not get used to the smaller phone
@kpac_15@TELUS@TelusOpticTV@TELUSsupport I’ve had @TelusOpticTV for like 5 years and don’t think I’ve ever used the box. I have the Telus TV app on my Apple TV and it works great, and you get access to everything the same way you would with the Telus box
@raywongy I always have a case on my phone, so that wasn’t a big deal. I went with the 18 Pro after having Plus/Pro Max phones for the last 12 years and just missed having a big phone lol
@thetaylorism@theapplehub Traded in my 16 Pro Max in black for the 18 Pro in black yesterday. It’s a darker finish and less “grey” than the 16. I think it looks nicer!
Yesterday the Federal Government announced that new oil sands facilities and gas-fired electricity plants will no longer be regulated under C-69. These projects will now be left to the provinces to regulate and approve.
This fulfills a promise made by the Federal Government to Alberta in our MOU implementation agreement signed previously.
This reform will decrease costly duplication and regulatory uncertainty. It will also help our energy and electricity sectors attract investment and grow.
C-69 still needs to be either repealed or amended further to fully respect provincial autonomy and reduce regulatory uncertainty - and we will continue to pursue our case in front of Alberta’s Court of Appeal to help facilitate these needed changes.
However, there is also no doubt that today’s decision by the federal government is yet another needed step in the right direction for Alberta and all of Canada 🍁
Happy Labour Day, Alberta.
Today belongs to the people who get up early. The welders and the nurses. The truckers and the teachers. The rig hands, the farmers, the servers, the tradespeople, and all the other hardworking Albertans who built so much of what you’ll see and enjoy this weekend.
Thank you for everything you do to keep Alberta moving and make this such a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
Enjoy the long weekend!
I am gay because I am a man attracted to men.
That tells you nothing about my views on gender, borders, religion, taxes, or Trump.
Sexual orientation is not a political platform. Stop pretending it is.
121 years ago, Alberta and Saskatchewan officially entered confederation.
Across the Prairies and into the Rockies, generations of hard-working, honest, and brave people helped build these two proud provinces that are an essential pillar of Canada.
Today we celebrate their history, their people, and their enormous contribution to our country.
Alberta is on track for a sixth consecutive surplus, and the Heritage Fund is on pace to hit $35 billion in 2027.
Not only did we balance the budget in 2025-26, but we are now also on track for a $2 billion surplus in 2026-27.
Our economy is growing faster than forecast and faster than most of the country, and we’re attracting more and more investment.
Thank you to Minister Jason Nixon @JasonNixonAB and his team for the discipline and hard work behind these numbers. Alberta has been given a great opportunity to finish the year strong.
Support for same-sex marriage has dropped from 71% to 65% since 2022.
That decline did not happen because Americans suddenly turned against gay people. It happened because the movement that once fought for the right of same-sex attracted adults to live freely was captured by an ideology that demands the erasure of sex itself.
When activists insist that men can become women, that lesbians must accept male partners, and that dissent is bigotry, ordinary people stop distinguishing between gay rights and the rest of the package. The overreach is now consuming the very acceptance gay people spent decades building.
Happy Heritage Day, Alberta.
This province was carved out of open prairie by people who worked hard, took risks and refused to quit. Families who built towns where there was nothing. That spirit still draws people here. Albertans by birth and Albertans by choice, all of them putting in the work to make this province better than they found it.
Alberta is the best place in Canada to raise a family, and days like this are a good reminder of who made it that way. Enjoy it with family and friends.
