@ruthbenghiat Nero used Christians as his scapegoat, Trump uses the democrats. Popular among Roman commoners—much like MAGA. In time they turned on him—blaming them for the Great Fire, pushing malicious persecution, ongoing personal extravagance and taxation to fund his palace. Sound familiar?
