Happy Thanksgiving beautiful people..

My Journey to Gratitude

My whole life I’ve been chasing wealth and happiness.. I thought the first would bring the second.

I echo the sentiment of many.. Money brings a freedom from an anxiety that certainly makes life lighter for the moment but what I learned thru trial and error was true happiness wasn’t purchasable.. I tried it.. I bought everything. Houses, cars, trips, a professional wrestling ring, atvs, shots for entire bars on numerous continents.. you name it.

In the moments they’re happening, absolute joy… but when it was over.. I usually found me and my thoughts with nothing changed.

I’ve taken a long voyage to get to my current lifeview, although each day is a wonder.. I think a lot of it revolves around watching people disappear. I’ve had too many friends lose their life from decisions or situations they put themselves into.. and also numerous friends die from tragic unexpected accidents.. and I’ve had a few friends take their own lives.

At the end of every show I say “Be a friend, tell a friend something nice. It might change their life”… The reason that exists is because of how I felt after learning of friends deciding they didn’t want to be alive anymore. Most of them were the life of any room they walked into.. so I never thought that I should reach out and randomly send well wishes or compliments to them. I had no idea that they were going thru shit in between their ears. Maybe all it took was one nice thing to be dropped into their world, to change their perspective.

After the constant reminder of the reality of this life, I finally found myself framing these losses that tomorrow shouldn’t ever be expected.. We have no idea what’s coming.

So every morning when I get to wake up.. I am insanely thankful for breath. Life will always be life-ing.. but I’m still alive somehow.

My wife and daughter’s happiness are the greatest fulfillment of my existence.. The boys that I get to lead thru their professional lives are absolute dawgs.. my family’s no longer broke.. but most importantly, I have fucking life.

I am so thankful to exist still.. and today is a day to remind myself of that.

I know the holidays can be tough for a lot of folks both personally and financially.. I want you to know that I think you’re doing fucking great. Keep going.. and the memories of these days are gonna make it even sweeter in the future.

I thank you all for following along with my life.. it’s the dumbest of all time. I get to do so much sweet shit with great people. I’m the luckiest man in the world.. and when I disappear, know that I’m grateful for it all.

Have a great Holiday

@PatMcAfeeShow Congrats to the boys! Been an OG listener and I’m a bit concerned the censorship will be to much from Disney. I hope I’m wrong

@VicLombardi Windhorst is the problem with the NBA, Jokic won’t move their needle so he isn’t given the credit he deserves! It’s no wonder why ESPN loses viewers daily, me being one of them. Thanks for representing the true Denver sports fan vic!

#oneofmcafeesmillion best podcast on the planet! Appreciate the daily entertainment!! Keep slaying the podcast game

@CecilLammey Can Barron help with that?

@VicLombardi Nuggets win in 5 if Gary Harris is healthy all series, changed them completely on the defensive end

[Vic Lombardi @VicLombardi]

Wanna thank my mom for always pushing me.

I mean, seriously pushing me. Down flights of stairs, into traffic, off various cliffs. Always pushing me to be my best.

@markgoldbridge Best shot stopper in the world, very inconsistent controlling his penalty area.

Make your free throws, win the game.

Nuggets continue to struggle with shooting at home.

Just a weird phenomenon.

Joe Judge has most recently worked under Nick Saban at Alabama, and Bill Belichick with the Patriots. Judge added WR duties this year, expanding his breadth similar to how longtime special teams coach John Harbaugh did (adding DBs) before being hired as head coach in Baltimore.

[Brady Henderson @BradyHenderson]

Marshawn Lynch just walked to the podium and was asked what brought him back to the Seahawks. He said, “Happy holidays. Merry New Year. Y’all have a great day. It’s a great feeling to be back.” Then walked away.

All this crap that we're too scared to tweet #GlazersOut....We're a fan channel, our focus is the fans. And if tweet #GlazersOut makes the club and owners realise how pissed off they are then that can only be a good thing. Change is needed from them or someone new
