I’m leaving for NZ in a few days, and I’m giving up my TN # permanently, so if you’d like to keep up with what I’m doing, feel free to check out my lil travel blog at https://t.co/Srsv9d3rEj
It isn’t much, and might never be, but it’s a place to put my photos and thoughts so 🤷🏻
English bf is watching the news, and with every passing day, and each new asinine development from mister orange and his cronies, he says “you never have to go back”
It feels horrific watching this unfold from afar. And yet it’s beyond terrifying to think of returning.
Had a little depressed episode last night but my friends were patient and caring and let me move through it while we played kniffel and had a random bread dinner and now I feel better today and we’re going to Hobbiton!
I know there’s probably no correlation between being in NZ and my credit score going up 17 points, but I choose to believe NZ is attracting all the good to me
Juxtaposed with Florida’s COMPLETE LACK of laws requiring breaks for employees… let me say that again: the state of Florida has ZERO PROTECTIONS for workers in terms of guaranteed rest or even meal breaks. This country sucks.
sitting down for my only break almost 6 hours into my 8.5 hour shift thinking about how every employee in New Zealand is legally entitled to AT LEAST a paid 10 minute break and an unpaid 30 for every 4 HOURS WORKED. Thats a legally required break every 2 hours.
was reading just now and learned that the historic fascist (antifeminist, homophobic, etc.) World Congress of Families was inspired by an American at the very college where my ex’s mom worked and the pillar of his hometown 👀👀👀 🤯🤯🤯
Day off schedule: wake up, start with a smoke and a photography tutorial. Spend an hour or so taking notes on photography book. Eat some fruit while watching te reo Māori lessons. Roll a joint to a piano video on left hand patterns. Go practice left hand patterns. Back to notes.
