Becky Hammon on criticism toward A'ja Wilson for missing the FIBA World Cup, via @Callie__Fin:
"A'ja has every right to do what she feels best health wise. And the other thing is, the men do this all the time. Can you name me any of the men's world championship rosters right now? Can you name me any person on there? ... If this was a man making this decision, there would be nothing to say. And that's my problem."
Well that’s not hard when all their games are on national TV and some of the games being the only game to watch that day while other teams are playing at the same time in one day 🤷🏾♀️
On one hand they say WNBA needs protection from the hypothetical trans women and on the other hand they tell WNBA players how worthless we are, misgender us, constantly disrespect us, yet we supposed to believe yall are worried about protection or sanctity of the WNBA 🤣😭
WNBA acting oblivious to the racism that Dijonai, Azzi, AT, Angel Reese and other players have faced but the whole world gotta stop if MAGA Barbie gets fouled
I’ve never once claimed that the assessment of the foul was white privilege (that was your assumption). Try exercising your critical thinking skills, I know you studied psych. Furthermore, I’m the LAST thing from ignorant or asinine when it comes to speaking on “white privilege”, do ya research on that one. I actually went to school, one of the top universities might I add, to educate myself on this exact subject. I would never use that term as a rhetorical weapon knowing the historical and social weight it holds without having the proper evidence to substantiate it.
