this beautiful, loving, brilliant, vivacious young woman made me an aunt when i was just 11.
i'm still not finding the right words to articulate it, but she's gone and it's just shattering for her parents, her siblings, cousins, friends, aunts & uncles, and all loved ones.

@jmspool He'll take my lead on concept designs for how to lay out the page (since I'm stronger than him there) but he also helps shape my initial ideas (he knows my blind spot as someone who gets lost in the details early on)
@jmspool I see a world where the UX work can scale a bit and the lines between roles get blurrier - and I love that. My go to product counterpart is an excellent researcher and can make a great Google site prototype with (manual but) real data. It allows me to focus on meatier problems.

@LibbyMMaurer This prospective UX-er worked in a peripheral role, maintained that workload AND found a scrappy way to take on design work in my space. They got to know product and engineering stakeholders... and yet couldn't find a way around the Talent restrictions to get placed on my team.
