With these kind of draw downs we are going to enter higher normalized Oil prices as comparative inventories start to attract to historical levels. #OOTT
BREAKING: US commercial crude oil draw of –7.167M barrels this week, the largest in 6 weeks massively beating expectations of a +1M build, and inventories at lowest since 2018, per EIA.
Including the SPR draw, the total US crude drop is roughly 11M barrels.
Wild. Per the comparison inventory levels where weekly total petroleum stock level minus the 5-year seasonal avg for that same ISO week, we've overshot slightly to the downside by a few dollars. However that doesn't mean this is where we stay with current draw down rates: #OOTT
We are ripping through US Crude stocks. Demand has to get hit by price increases. Thats going to happen one way or another.. Guess its going to be tank bottoms as the trigger #OOTT
This is indicative of a high-latitude blocking regime, which disrupts the typical west-to-east flow of the jet stream.
This setup could lead to impactful winter weather events. Still 300+ hours out but watch after the 8th of Jan for big changes
🌡️ Significant Temperature Shift Incoming
After the first week of January, a potential blocking pattern in both the Pacific and Atlantic. This setup is forcing the jet stream to buckle South, delivering colder-than-normal air into the western U.S. #natgas#oott
🌊 Beneath the equatorial Pacific, a deep pool of cooler-than-average waters has been forming all summer. This cooling trend is a key factor behind the forecast for La Niña this fall and winter, bringing significant weather shifts. ❄️ #LaNiña#WxX
🌨️ Winter 2024 is shaping up to be a La Niña season! Expecting possible cooler temperatures, increased snowfall, and potentially drier conditions across parts of the southern U.S. ❄️ If you're in the northern states, maybe a wetter, colder winter. #LaNiña#WxX#wxtwitter
this is winding up to be absolutely bananas from this Thursday onwards where the entire continent, including the high population areas are swarmed with arctic air for the rest of the month

Massive invasion of polar air into the US West/Midwest. <zero wind chills in the Rockies down to Colorado. The sudden warming on 30hPa in the strato signals there is much more to come. Rockies, Niobrara, Anadarko... will see big freeze offs. This season it will be on time
