After one of the toughest school years, there is a silver lining. Today I had 3 of my students attend our first CTE signing day. These 3 young men have chosen to attend trade schools after graduation. One to Universal Technical Institute (UTI) and two to WyoTech.

Another district contest in the books. After a slow start of getting students involved, the Small Engine team ended up with 3 first places, a second place and 2 third places. 4 students will be advancing to state in April.

Students have been engaged for several weeks using their knowledge with shop tools to tear down, measure out engine components, and rebuild them to working order. Their hard work has paid off.
