🚨 MITCHELL LUKONI IS APPROVED TO RUN FOR ONE BC IN PRINCE GEORGE–VALEMOUNT!
Congratulations, Mitchell! And thank you to everyone who signed his nomination papers, made calls, and helped get this grassroots campaign to the ballot.
Mitchell was born and raised in Prince George. He’s ready to challenge the decisions holding Northern communities back: red tape that stalls resource jobs, rising costs for families, obstacles facing small businesses, and a Victoria bureaucracy that too often fails to listen.
Prince George–Valemount deserves an MLA who answers to the people of this riding and stands by Conservative principles. Let’s elect a Conservative who means it, rather than one dressed up in a blue coat.
Now the campaign begins in earnest. Come knock on doors, put up signs, and talk with neighbours from Prince George to McBride and Valemount. Let’s send Mitchell Lukoni to the Legislature!

The illogical leftist ideology.
Brattani claims we should not judge Carney for his father being involved with residential schools.
Yet she wants those who were never connected to residential schools to pay reparations to "generations" who never attended them.
@BCBlueshirt makes a valid point.
@dsimieritsch@bcndp all beholden to the chinese, if it isn't them taking canada apart, it's the indigenous rising up declaring publicly that we are not welcome on their land... this isn't going to end well
@bcndp Extreme views? You guys are literally giving away one of BC's historic castles to another Nation get out of here. The NDP is nothing but extreme
@AnthonyRussoBC and this was just a jump start of getting candidates and were successful in about a week or so, think of what they could do for British Columbians with this kind of powerhouse activity!
Canada’s invocation of the Emergencies Act was found to be illegal.
Alberta’s public health orders were found to be illegal.
Governments demanded compliance of the vax “for the public good.” Then they abandoned the injured.
Where are the consequences for those in power?
Where is the recognition of the harm done to the people?
How do those involved have the audacity to lecture citizens about responsibility when they have yet to answer for their own decisions?
And how are we supposed to trust leaders who demand accountability from everyone but themselves?
You cannot convince me they are working for the people while they fight so hard to avoid accountability and refuse to acknowledge those harmed.
Public office is not a shield from consequences. Those who refuse to answer for their mistakes or the harm they caused have no business holding power or lecturing the rest of us about right and wrong.
Carney keeps saying Canada is becoming its own best customer. StatCan did not get the memo.
Second quarter exports rose 13.1 percent, the strongest quarterly gain since 2020. June goods exports were $77.5 billion, up 0.4 percent, and the balance was a $3.9 billion surplus. That is not a collapse. It is also not a new market. $53.9 billion of that June total still went to the United States. About 70 cents of every export dollar. European Union exports fell 25.9 percent in the same month.
Almost half the quarterly jump was energy prices from the Middle East conflict, not a customer he found in Brussels. Exports outside the United States rose 0.7 percent. The non-US deficit narrowed from $7.4 billion to $6.1 billion. Still a hole. July handed the American drop back. Exports to the United States fell 6.6 percent, the sharpest since April 2025, and the surplus shrank to $769 million.
Announcing a terminal does not move a June invoice. Bill C-69 still sits on the projects he is now stamping national interest. The diversification line is a press release. The customer is still the one he walked away from.

Stop 🛑 loosely stating “a War”!
A prime minister who keeps calling this a war with the United States, then says he will use the emergency powers of the federal government to take on the Americans, does not get to hide in a permit clause. Most people do not read Bill C-5. They hear the head of the country say war, then emergency powers, then the neighbour.
The sentence in the clip is about speeding major projects. Cabinet stamps a project national interest and pieces of federal law get stepped over. That is not a mobilization order. It is also not nothing. He has already told the New York Times the military is looking at the tail risk of an annexation threat. Sept 29 he said he has no plan to add trade pressure before the US midterms. So the war word is for the microphone, and the statute is for the desk.
Leaders do not get to use that word loosely. The Americans hear it. Our own people hear it. The insinuation is the point, and he has left it open.

@wyatt_claypool your hard work is paying off, Wyatt, keep up the good work you are making headway - it's evident to everyone watching, how impressive to get those candidates lined up so quickly, stunningly fast, I'd say
Mark Carney and the Liberals approach to fighting Trump and the Americans on steel has been asinine.
We actually somehow raised domestic steel prices through government programs despite exports to the USA falling.
Liberals helped kill our own industry.
