@KarlHerdersch and I started building the first prototype of @irlproximity 3 years ago.
some of the imaginaries that helped shape @IrlProximity are now it gathered and viewable on proximity and https://t.co/OsJjSKYh3d.
most knowledge tools are good at ingestion and increasingly good at synthesis. where they still break down is expansion and modelling: helping ideas develop into richer connected structures, and representing those structures in ways you can examine from different angles as your understanding changes. the point of this approach is that thinking and decisions still stay with you, not outsourced or abstracted away behind a machine.
every public Notion page is leaking the email addresses of everyone who edited it.
zero authentication. no cookies. no tokens. one POST request returns full names, emails, and profile photos for every editor on the page.
your company wiki is public? every employee's email is exposed. right now.
reported in 2022. still works in 2026. like what is the point of even having a BBP
thread
Lovable has a mass data breach affecting every project created before november 2025.
I made a lovable account today and was able to access another users source code, database credentials, AI chat histories, and customer data are all readable by any free account.
nvidia, microsoft, uber, and spotify employees all have accounts. the bug was reported 48 days ago. its not fixed. They marked it as duplicate and left it open.
Anthropic seems to be the only player in the AI race right now.
OpenAI is not shipping much.
Meta seems to be dead already.
Google hype is slowly fading away.
Grok seems to be lagging behind.
DeepSeek was a one-week game.
Apple never participated.
Deep work doesn't start when you open the repo.
It starts 1-2 hours later, after you've rebuilt enough context in your head to make safe decisions.
Prioritization has the same shape.
Linear, GitHub, docs, calendar, and Slack all hold part of the state, so Monday planning becomes a manual context load before any real execution.
Point: this isn't a motivation issue.
It's a context reconstruction tax.
we're looking for founders who are fatigued from context switching between manager/maker modes.
if that sounds like you, please reach out!
building out MONOid to fix this and need honest, critical feedback.
I'm opening it to a small group of early users who want to shape the product through honest, critical feedback.
If that's you → https://t.co/iLo1xg2kI9

shipped a website for @IRLCorp
Wrote custom touch handlers with @kaifung_chan because apparently we hate ourselves.
The nav reads image luminance and adjusts contrast. no library. canvas sampling. by hand. like an animal.
swipe vs tap separated manually because video exists and gestures are a nightmare.
Anyway its done (for now).
DM if you find a bug i will fix it immediately and pretend it was always like that.
writing is an often overlooked part of all our dev stacks.
@kaifung_chan and I kept having to piece together .md based editors across every project. so we stopped and built one worth keeping.
.mdly: a programmable editor you own, inside your own stack. open-source, MIT licensed.
use it. fork it. make it better.

Releasing the @IrlProximity Roadmap.
You can now explore the new organisational grids and start privately collecting.
Add traces: sketch, annotate, and layer your own notation as you move.
This week, @k_kfchan aand I have been developing the backend to support open APIs for models and new tooling.
I’ve been learning a tonne in the process, and readying to create some tutorials soon.
We’re building this on top of the best foundation: @AREdotNA .
Trying to dev additional interaction → focusing on grounding knowledge IRL.
