Business men and women across Nairobi's major trading hubs, including Nyamakima, Kamukunji, and Gikomba, are raising a loud alarm over an unprecedented drop in consumer demand and daily turnover.
Traders report that a combination of aggressive tax hikes, rising operational costs, and the high cost of living has severely shrunk consumers' purchasing power. Many shoppers are now strictly prioritising basic food items and school fees, leaving retail, apparel, and electronics shops completely deserted.
Our reality is that those who have taken an oath to protect us are the ones hungry for our blood!
So help us God, we must liberate this country.

2027 election red flags raise security and credibility fears
Election officials, police, the Judiciary, prosecutors and other institutions have warned that weak public trust in the IEBC, economic hardship, youth unemployment, ethnic mobilisation, hate speech, misinformation and disputed procurement could create dangerous conditions ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Officials said Kenya must confront the warning signs early rather than wait for tensions to harden, with memories of the 2007 and 2008 post-election violence still shaping concerns about how disputes, campaigns and inflammatory rhetoric could escalate.
The bible verse I love so much:
Habakkuk 2:3
“ There will be a time when your tears will fail, not because of ur troubles but because God has answered your prayers” 🥹
I have seen the photos circulating of the young men alleged to have abducted Alex, the Standard editor. This is heartbreaking. Look at the faces. Young Kenyans. Young people who should be building their lives, raising families and pursuing their dreams not being turned into disposable tools for people hiding behind power.
The cowards who recruit young men to do their dirty work must understand this: you are destroying lives twice, first the life of the victim, and then the lives of the young people you weaponise.
If powerful people have a problem, let them face their opponents in the political arena, in court, or at the ballot.
Kenya cannot normalise a culture where the powerful send young men to intimidate, abduct and terrorise citizens while they remain safely behind the curtain.
Bwana IG,
I have seen that you have purported to order a thorough investigation into the abduction of Alex Kiprotich, the Associate Editor of the Standard Media Group.
That investigation, like all the others you have ordered, will go nowhere because it was done by police officers outside your command.
You are clueless about the operations of the National Police Service. I do have more information as to the happenings in the Service than you do. The National Police Service was taken over a long time ago by Mr. Kipchumba Murkomen and Mr. Raymond Omollo, with the concurrence of Mr. William Ruto; orders are directly issued to your DIG, Eliud Langat, and DCI Mohamed Amin.
You are just a flower girl leading a shell, and you will be sacrificed at the right time and blamed for the excesses in the Service.
Let me bring you up to speed.
Mr. Alex Kiprotich was preparing for an assignment in the Mau Forest, where thousands of Mau evictees from the Kipsigis community have been conned out of millions of shillings in compensation money by officials of the National Government Administration under the direction of Mr. Murkomen and Mr. Raymond Omollo. This money has been paid by the duo to their brokers and proxies.
Alex was to publish an exposé giving a blow-by-blow account of how the funds have been stolen, leaving the evictees helpless and in anguish.
A late-night meeting on Monday evening between Mr. William Ruto and Mr. Kipchumba Murkomen sealed the fate of Mr. Alex Kiprotich, where it was decided that he had to be stopped.
The DCI, Mr. Mohamed Amin, was instructed to put Alex under 24-hour surveillance. The DCI assembled a team headed by one Mr. Zachary Kariuki, who, though retired, has been recalled by Amin to coordinate this squad trained in abductions, killings, and cover-ups.
This is the team that abducted Alex Kiprotich and was instructed to abandon the earlier plan to eliminate him after the abduction was captured live and provoked public outrage.
This team of 60 rogue police killers is responsible for the abduction of businessman Jimmy in Mlolongo, as ordered by DIG Langat, Zizo Abdulaziz, Lawyer Molu, and killed Rachel Wandeto after you and Kipchumba Murkomen visited her in hospital.
That is why, even after Mr. William Ruto told Kenyans that the killers of Rachel Wandeto would be arrested, it has not happened and will not happen.
Bwana Kanja, before you order investigations into the abduction of Alex, kindly first release the findings of the previous investigations you ordered into the death of Rachel Wandeto, the attack on Witima ACK Church, the attack on Mwiki PCEA Church, the attack on Kariobangi PCEA Church, and the killings and mayhem in Ol Kalou, to name but a few.
You have no report to release because no investigations were carried out, and none will be carried out. You cannot investigate your seniors, and police cannot investigate themselves.
IPOA is dead, and the rule of law has been suspended.
I can see you crying at the International Criminal Court in The Hague next year.

I’ve now been at the Durk trial so long I’m having dreams about it. Dreamed last night that the prosecutors started coming up to me and roasting me for my shoes aswell lol. This trial has fried my brain
If fraudsters use your stolen ID and phone to access your bank account, you can seek compensation in court, but you have to prove the bank was at fault.
A Kenyan court ordered Stanbic Bank to refund Sh511,000 after fraudsters stole Sh1 million from a customer’s account.
[The bank had already recovered Sh490,000].
