If you're serious about being a partner for Zohran, will you stand by him as he calls out Modi and toxic Hindutva that is terrorizing New York in recent years? Modi govt agents tried to assassinate someone in NYC.
Can you unequivocally denounce hindutva like Zohran does?
Since you are hitching on to the mayor, can you clarify your opinion on Modi, Hindutva, RSS & what's happening w/ Umar Khalid? @NYCMayor has clear opinions. Will you support Albany passing legislation recognizing caste as a protected class under our state's discrimination laws?
Dear Raj, since you're favorably QTing our mayor, I have a question for you as an Indian American voter in NYC.
The mayor has been very clear about his feelings on Modi & BJP. Where do you stand? You've assiduously avoided addressing Indian politics. I'd like you to.
Thanks.
My Sinhagad style chicken was a huge hit at the last dinner party. So simple too. Fry a lot of onion till it starts browning. Then add lots of ginger, dried coconut, crushed chilies. Cook till oil separates. Add the chicken, water (ideally chicken broth), salt, cook till done.
20 people were burnt alive in Modi's Delhi, what was the fault of these innocent people ?
In India, no matter what kind of incident occurs, whether an ant dies or not, a human being certainly does. This is the "gift" given by the system. Ordinary people die without having committed any mistake.
This is not an accident; it is a blazing testament to the failure of the system.
In the country's capital, Delhi, when a family goes to a hotel or restaurant to spend some peaceful moments together, enjoy a meal, and celebrate life, they trust that the administration has ensured compliance with all safety standards. But when such a place turns into flames and dozens of people lose their lives, the question is not merely about the fire-it is about the entire system.
It is said that rules are made for the safety of the public. But when those responsible for enforcing them limit them to paperwork, a license ceases to be proof of safety and becomes a receipt for corruption.
The repeated incidents in Delhi tell the same story-
Illegal constructions collapse, and people are buried under the debris.
Innocent people lose their lives when water floods basements where activities are being carried out.
Fire safety measures exist only as a formality, and when disaster strikes, the truth is exposed.
If a building was permitted to have only six rooms but was operating twenty-six rooms, it is natural to ask: what were the inspecting departments doing? If commercial activities were prohibited in basements throughout Delhi, then how was a restaurant operating in the basement of this hotel? Are rules meant only for ordinary citizens and not for the influential?
The biggest question is this: when illegal construction, violations of regulations, and disregard for safety standards continue for years, who is responsible? Only the building owner? Or also the officials before whose eyes all this continued to happen?
As long as corruption remains the fuel of the system, every tragedy will be followed by the same statements-there will be an investigation, action will be taken against the guilty, and those responsible will not be spared. But after some time, everything will return to normal, until the next disaster.
To call such an incident merely an "accident" would be an injustice to the victims. If safety regulations were deliberately ignored, if illegal construction was protected, and if inspections existed only on paper, then this is not just an accident but a collective failure of the system.
When corruption becomes greater than the rules, deaths occur not because of accidents, but because of systemic negligence.
And then the question is not only how the fire started, but also who was responsible for allowing the conditions that led to it.
Many foreign citizens have also been affected from today, what could be their fault ?
Now you all see Modi will announce the compensation money in some time, responsibility is over.
Norway River vs India Capital Delhi Yamuna River Sacred River for Hindus-
Tell India's Prime Minister to make India's capital, Delhi, like the capital of Norway oslo.
Where people can get clean air and live in a pollution-free environment.
Where there is no food adulteration.
Where there is no corruption, and people do not have to live among dirty drains and open manholes.
Where people receive proper treatment in hospitals, not have to depend on Mohalla Clinics for healthcare.
Where people do not have to stand in long queues for water and can get clean drinking water.
Make just India's capital, Delhi, like that first. Big speeches alone do not make it happen.
Just make one city like Norway.
Visit the areas of Delhi where ordinary poor people live and then visit the areas where VIPs live. It will feel as if they are two different worlds.
In the areas where poor working people live, there is often inadequate water supply, unreliable electricity, piles of garbage, narrow lanes, and poor management.
In contrast, VIP areas have most facilities, but even there, pollution exists and clean air is not guaranteed.
That is why these questions should be asked to Prime Minister Modi.
Those who say that a country cannot be run through press conferences-can a country be run through radio addresses and speeches alone ?
This is a normal sea river of Norway, look at its cleanliness, you will not find a single piece of garbage.
Here see Yamuna river in India capital Delhi, the most sacred river of Hindu religion is Yamuna river, the favorite of Lord Krishna, which the protectors of Hindus are not able to clean.
Scott Pelley issues new statement after being fired by CBS for opposing their pro-MAGA bias:
“New management has instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias into a politically sensitive story. I’ve been told to include assertions that are unverified. To date, in every case, I have managed to ignore these instructions or refuse them.
Recently, politicians have been invited to choose correspondents for interviews on the broadcast. Giving politicians control over 60 Minutes interviews is not how this is done.
Finally, incompetence and unprofessionalism in the new management have wreaked havoc. In a case involving one of my stories, the entire program came within 19 minutes of not getting on the air at all.”
Unbelievable that Mamdani has gotten flak for skipping a parade that Smotrich—who is proudly overseeing the West Bank’s ethnic cleansing and annexation—and Eliyahu—who suggested nuking Gaza and bombing humanitarian aid—are marching in.
Bezalel Smotrich marched in NYC today.
He called for the ethnic cleansing of Gaza, leads the settler movement stealing Palestinian land, and faces a possible ICC arrest warrant for crimes against humanity.
Every elected official should condemn his presence here.
Can you imagine the reaction if Mamdani marched in a Syria Day parade with Bashar al Assad? Or in a Russia Day parade with Vladimir Putin? But he’s getting flak for avoiding marching in an Israel Day parade with Bezalel fricking Smotrich. Oh the double standards and hypocrisy!
Many people told me I was wrong. I wish I were. Beyond the Kahanist ministers, Smotrich himself was honored at this event under the banner of the New York Jewish community. This is the same minister who called for segregating Jewish and Arab mothers in maternity wards, advocated starving Gaza, and is now driving the settler violence campaign in the West Bank. At this point, there are no more questions. The facts are right in front of us. The only question is whether we are prepared to confront them.
Regardless of the number of sexual partners a woman should be able to get a divorce and live her life the way she wants. What you are advocating for is women not having agency over their own life!
@gauravsabnis That doesn't change the fact that more the sexual partners woman has had before marriage will shoot up the chances of divorce after marriage

This is Timothy Hudson. He raped & killed his stepsister. A judge ruled because he’s 16 he gets to spend time at home with family awaiting trial.
He’s Not an immigrant. Not a Black or brown person. A US citizen with the complexion for protection.
16 year old Kalief Browder was tortured for 3 years in prison and solitary on the mere (false) accusation that he allegedly stole a backpack. He died by suicide from the trauma. Hudson gets to chill at home after raping & killing.
This is America.
Is this the same Espaillat you're talking about. Convenient how you left out the part about him voting to send our tax dollars to bomb babies instead of making life better for his constituents.
For immigrants, for people struggling financially, for people dependent on public transportation, Medicare/Medicaid, or public housing, and everyone who believes that government should work for the people…Adriano Espaillat has worked relentlessly for all of them. /6
Except he didn't come out and say anything about Trump did he. He posted about a fable & we're supposed to assume it's about Trump. Cornyn didn't mention Trump at all. Legacy media's inability be honest & report the actual truth died a long time ago. It's why people lost trust.
John Cornyn comes out and says what senators have been telling me privately....
They’re perplexed, angry, and, in some cases, resigned to the conclusion that Trump cares more about himself than the midterms. https://t.co/4EeopRNcZE
India has got a wonderful Prime Minister, caring, loving and supportive There is no one like Modi-
The heat has increased a lot, so everyone should drink plenty of water.
India’s great Prime Minister Modi held a high-level meeting yesterday. In the meeting, he called all the MPs and ministers. The entire country was expecting that, with the rising prices of petrol, diesel, and CNG, increasing inflation, and the difficult situation faced by poor people, small business owners, street vendors, and rickshaw pullers, the government would announce some relief measures or make an important decision.
But the interesting part is that Prime Minister Modi told his MPs and ministers:
“The heat has increased a lot, so all of you should drink more water.”
And then the meeting ended.
Tell me, can there be a more caring Prime Minister anywhere? In a high-level meeting, he is advising his MPs and ministers to drink plenty of water.
Now wait and watch. Today they are asking people to drink more water. India was already mixing 20% ethanol in petrol, and now the government plans to increase it to 30%. Slowly, after some time, they may even say, “Please drink less water too, we need it to produce ethanol.”
Now it is becoming clear why the great Prime Minister does not hold press conferences. He probably knows that he may not be able to answer even five serious questions.
If questions are asked about development, education, national security, healthcare, and corruption, then he himself might need to drink plenty of water.
