Final thing before I go for a walk in the rain...
The business model of online newspapers (who don't have a paywall) is built on the numbers going to their websites.
Merely looking at what the website puts money in their pockets. It doesn't matter what your opinion of them is, they earn money off you.
Just a nod to the wise perhaps not to spend too much time there 👍🏼
TACTICAL VOTING
Has been more important than ever in these byelections. The stats below and acceptance speech by Lib DEM @SarahDykeLD bear that out.

500,000 used us for the local elections!! Tories lost 1063 seats.
"Starmer is abandoning so many pledges, it’s sending a message to people on the left... they’re no longer the party to improve child benefit policies, control rents. Only Green MPs will be arguing for these things" Spot on from @sianberry! #Brighton 👇

If you know someone planning to go to Uni in the next year or two (or their parent). Please ensure they have a listen to this. The changes are both subtle (which is why it's been mainly under the radar) and seismic (which is why the potential cost increase is so substantial)
@Nurseborisbash It’s a shame @bbclaurak didn’t have these graphs to hand when she talked to @SteveBarclay & @AmandaPritchard today.
The feeling amongst current HCWs that they’re of so little value is palpable, which’ll lead to many more leaving who may otherwise have decided to stay.

For Steve Barclay:
1. The NHS workforce plan is neither fully costed nor funded. Doesn't that make it more spin than substance?
2. What is the point of training additional staff without any meaningful effort to retain the staff you have, who are quitting the NHS in droves?
WARNING: In a few hours, stories about the NHS workforce plan will begin to drop (inc ours).
NONE of the writers will have seen the actual report - which won't be published until tomorrow morning.
This is now a well established tactic from this Gov 1/2
This entire piece is written not on the basis of the actual workplace plan - no report has yet been published - but merely on a government press release. No detail, no proper costings, just how @10DowningStreet chooses to spin it. Devious tactics.

You forgot normalisation of lying in government and enabling media, cronyism in public appointments/abuse of honours, corruption in public contracting, shittification of seas and rivers, loss of power and standing in the world due to own goal, and much much more. They’ve got to go
Homeowners who took out big mortgages on low interest rates now facing crisis:
No bailout. Hold your nerve
Water companies who borrowed billions to give to shareholders now facing crisis:
Govt talks. Bailout incoming.
RIP NHS.
Cue more nurses leaving. Bet it’s over 50K shortage by the end of the year.
Nurse strikes in England end as vote turnout too low #FairPayForNursing https://t.co/ks4gvGebps
Why is no one pointing out this morning the Governments illegal Migration Bill is actually ILLEGAL! A Joint Committee on Human Rights has now published a damning verdict finding it BREACHES A NUMBER OF THE UK’S INTERNATIONAL LEGAL OBLIGATIONS! Why is UK media not all over this?
