@LAN8VE It was pretty obvious from the start that they didn't want AR getting that money. Rich Paul was going around publicly advocating to trade AR because he knew that was the path for Lebron to have leverage in his contract. Pressure is on AR to deliver though.
@KvngDKN You can add Rui and Jake to that list as well. Outside of the big 3 and Ayton, name one other player on this team that's a sure fire part of a contender's rotation?
@jjmaples55 Exactly. This is all because he didn't get his contract extension and he's lost all leverage now that Luka is here. No one's giving Lebron a big contract with this CBA. I was rooting for Rich to make it big time since he started out but he's starting to fly too close to the sun.
@Yinoma2001 Any real Lakers fan is more than done. It's obvious Lebron's camp is not happy they couldn't work out a contract extension. Next year is going to be interesting. Who's going to be able to pay Lebron the same kind of money as a free agent? Looks like they're trying to get a trade.
@LADEig Too much dead weight on this team. We need quality two way role players. Lebron has also lost a step this year and anyone thinking he just needs some time is deluding themselves. Father time is undefeated and that's ok but you just can't have that much of the cap space tied up.
@30problemz If comparing your best player to a 41 year old Lebron James as a third option, makes you feel better, then yeah you've got it. Lebron has very clearly taken a step back this year...end is near.
@G_O_A_T_Lantern 100% agree. It’s not even that bad a movie. I honestly would rewatch that over Deadpool 2. Dude is just a try hard so he comes across as being edgy/ funny. I don’t want Reynolds anywhere near the DCU.
@BronGotGame Bron has gutted every team he’s gone to in the interest of winning championships. He left Cleveland because they’d reach the end, same with Miami before that. Miami still hasn’t recovered. Comments like this make me look forward to his retirement.
@JustRyCole lol he’s not going anywhere. This is his usual passive aggressive bullcrap. LeBron’s best chance to win and keep his money is the Lakers. If he gets traded anywhere else, they will gut that roster of key rotation pieces to cover his salary.
@TheHoopCentral@awfulannouncing This one gets me angry. NBA media needs an overhaul. Get some people who actually love the game and watch the game to talk about it.
@forumbluegold Lakers fans all see it. Same thing every year. Dallas was talked about as this favourite just because they had that guy - Luka Doncic. Now he’s on the lakers with LeBron and it’s all about how he got exposed by Jalen Brown and all the mismatches they face.
