Can you help us find missing 15-year-old Shayla Brook?
Shayla was reported missing from #Canvey Island on Monday 14 June.
She was last seen near the Benfleet train station that day and may have got on a train.
We’ve carried out enquiries locally to try to find her but now we’re asking the public for their help.
Shayla is described as 5ft 2ins tall, of medium build. She has several facial piercings, including her nose.
When she went missing, she was wearing a white camisole top, jean shorts, fluffy slipper shoes and carrying a black tote bag.
We’re concerned about Shayla due to the length of time she’s been missing and want to find her as soon as we can to make sure she’s okay.

Alexandra Walker, and her boyfriend Harrison Simpson, are on trial accused of the murder of Isabelle Welsh, sexually assaulting her and breaking 21 bones in her two-year-old daughter’s body.

The man pictured is Lee Lomas and he's starting a 13 year prison sentence for sex offences against two girls.

Lomas, 47, raped one of the girls and incited sexual activity with the other.

Both of his victims were under the age of 13 when Lomas preyed on them.

He was arrested in Blackpool in May 2025 after the victims had disclosed to their parents what had happened.

Lomas, of no fixed address, appeared for sentence at Preston Crown Court last Friday after pleading guilty at an earlier hearing to rape of a child under the age of 13, inciting sexual activity with a child under 13, and possession of indecent images of children.

He was jailed for a total of 13 years, made subject of a 20 year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and was put on the sex offenders register for life.

Lewis Bates and Mark Wilson — the Hartlepool sex beasts who abducted a 13-year-old schoolgirl, took her to a remote track and took turns raping her — have been released.

These monsters enticed the girl into a car, drove her to an isolated spot, and subjected her to a half-hour nightmare.

They left her bleeding profusely, barely able to walk. She was physically sick when she got home and had to be taken to hospital.

Sam Hunter helped lure her in and got a lighter sentence.

TWO retired North Yorkshire Police dogs from the county's force are in urgent need of surgery.

An appeal has been launched German Shepherds Miki and Kenai, who both served with North Yorkshire Police and retired just months apart, who each require major operations costing more than £2,500.

The @ThinBluePaw Foundation, a charity supporting working and retired police dogs across the UK, hope to raise £5,000 to cover the full cost of their treatment.
