Dangers of subscription services
I'm nowhere near being a record-breaking trader in terms of profitability. I probably hold the record though for the most $ spent on subscription services given the small trading account I manage. This is rant to all lost trading souls here.

If you could just go ahead and ramp this worthless rock up to 2700 by mid October so I can short it at tazer mid after I come from vacation, they would be great!
Mmmkay?
Closed rest 60% of the position at 69.29.
Paid for all my failed attempts, which they were plenty and finishing tough month in small green for swing strategy.
Of course now it will go ballistic, but I wanna go on vacation without stress.
Small victory lap is granted 🤣

when Livermore lost money it came down to 2 potential culprits: The rules for trading were not fully formulated (not the case for most of his losses). The rules were not followed.
For today's traders, these are likely still the culprits that keep profits at bay. To be profitable, a trader must actually create a profitable trading strategy, and then must adhere to it in actual trading.

trading takes so long to get to grips with because you need to do something wrong for an indefinite amount of time - likely months - before you realise it's wrong and need to do something different
this can be because you need enough data to tell you it's not right, but most of the time it's lack of self awareness to identify the issue
and that thing you do wrong for months - there's a ridiculous amount of them that you'll have to go through
from marking levels wrong, to revenge trading, to even realising that after 6 hours of chart time a day you only lose
amount of problems x time taken to solve each problem = when you can start to get profitable
