Good morning.
The reason you feel Charlie’s death so deeply is because grief doesn’t measure itself by proximity. It measures itself by meaning. You didn’t have to know him personally to feel the sting of his absence, because when a voice like his goes silent, something in the atmosphere shifts.
The reason it feels heavier than so many other tragedies is because your spirit recognizes that this is not just about a man, it is about a battle. Scripture says eternity is written on our hearts, and when someone who carried truth with boldness is suddenly gone, eternity aches within us. It’s like our souls know instinctively that the darkness celebrated, and that strikes us at the core.
The reason you can’t shake it is because psychologically, we don’t only attach ourselves to people…we attach ourselves to symbols. Charlie became a symbol of conviction in a time of compromise, courage in a time of fear. And when a symbol is struck down, it rattles something primal and eternal inside us.
That’s why even those who never met him feel it. There is a strange thread pulling at us, and it is not imagined. It is real. We are bound together by shared purpose, by shared longing for truth, by the Spirit of God Himself weaving us into a fabric that cannot be torn apart. This loss pulled at that fabric, and every one of us felt the tug.
So if you’ve wondered why this hits so hard, it’s because your soul knows. This is bigger than news. This is bigger than politics. This is about eternity, about truth, and about the weight of a man whose life carried both.
Love y’all.

INDOPACOM Threats in the Indo-Pacific Region
The United States Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) operates in one of the most dynamic and strategically vital regions of the world, facing a complex array of threats that challenge regional stability, U.S. interests, and the security of allies and partners. The Indo-Pacific region, covering over half the Earth’s surface and home to more than half the global population, is a geopolitical hotspot where great power competition, territorial disputes, and emerging security challenges converge. INDOPACOM’s mission to maintain a free and open Indo-Pacific is increasingly tested by state-based aggression, non-state threats, and environmental factors that demand a robust and adaptive response.
The primary threat in the INDOPACOM AOR stems from the People’s Republic of China (PRC), which pursues an assertive strategy to reshape the regional order. China’s rapid military modernization, including advancements in hypersonic missiles, cyber warfare capabilities, and a growing nuclear arsenal, poses a direct challenge to U.S. military superiority. The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has expanded its presence in the South China Sea through militarized artificial islands, asserting dominance over disputed territories and threatening freedom of navigation. Beijing’s aggressive actions, such as incursions into Taiwan’s air defense identification zone and coercive “gray zone” tactics against regional neighbors like the Philippines and Vietnam, heighten the risk of miscalculation and conflict. Additionally, China’s Belt and Road Initiative and economic coercion tactics amplify its influence, undermining the sovereignty of smaller nations and complicating the regional security environment.
North Korea remains a persistent and unpredictable threat within INDOPACOM’s purview. Pyongyang’s ongoing development of nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) directly threatens the U.S. homeland, allies like South Korea and Japan, and regional stability. North Korea’s provocative actions, including missile tests over Japanese territory and cyberattacks, destabilize Northeast Asia. The regime’s opaque decision-making and resistance to diplomatic engagement further complicate efforts to deter its aggressive behavior, requiring INDOPACOM to maintain a high state of readiness to counter potential escalations.
Beyond state actors, non-traditional threats exacerbate regional instability. Transnational challenges such as terrorism, piracy, and illegal trafficking in drugs and humans persist, particularly in Southeast Asia’s maritime domains like the Sulu Sea. Cyber threats, including state-sponsored hacking and disinformation campaigns, undermine trust and security across the region. Climate change also poses a growing threat, with rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and resource scarcity threatening low-lying nations like the Maldives and Pacific Island states. These environmental stressors amplify humanitarian crises and strain disaster response capabilities, requiring INDOPACOM to balance traditional military operations with humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR) missions.
Russia, while less dominant in the Indo-Pacific than China, contributes to regional instability through its growing military cooperation with the PRC, including joint naval exercises and patrols in the Pacific. Moscow’s opportunistic alignment with Beijing and its arms sales to regional actors further complicate the security landscape. Additionally, territorial disputes, such as those in the South China Sea and the India-China border, fuel tensions among regional powers, risking escalation and drawing INDOPACOM into potential conflicts to support allies like India, Japan, and Australia.
To address these multifaceted threats, INDOPACOM must strengthen alliances through frameworks like the Quad (U.S., Japan, India, Australia) and ASEAN partnerships, enhance interoperability with allies, and invest in advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and unmanned systems. The command’s focus on integrated deterrence, combining diplomatic, economic, and military tools, is critical to countering aggression while promoting a rules-based order. As the Indo-Pacific remains a theater of intense competition, INDOPACOM’s ability to adapt to evolving threats will determine the region’s stability and the preservation of a free and open Indo-Pacific.

The fact that Goldberg chose to remain in the commo loop, when he wasn't explicitly invited and clearly had nothing to do with him, may have legal ramifications for him. Being a journalist doesn't give him an excuse or immunity.
That's not a War plan Ginny. How do I know? Oh, I've seen a few....and by the way, we don't call them "war plans". That should be a dead giveaway. There isn't anything in here that is sensitive. It is impossible to ascertain the target, the location, even the actual "strike time". And P.S., we don't call it a "strike time" either. Even the times tell you nothing. Why? Because there is no time zone associated. Even if you had a time zone, that doesn't allow you to pinpoint the location. This is basic arithmetic. Super fun to watch REMFs Monday morning quarterback this.
@elonmusk Your succession question, and subsequent conundrum, is a consequence of the society that we live in, it's lack of values, and wayward moral compass. The individual that you need to find to succeed you, God forbid, will have to be just like you. And who is that? Someone who doesn't give a shit about the money and possesses a shared hope for humanities ultimate destiny. I only know two individuals like that.
