We are all used to the sometimes erratic behavior of the US President, but his recent actions make even some of his loyal supporters scratch their heads in disbelief.
Just look at this chart. The poorly prepared attack on Iran and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz pushed US diesel prices up. What does the President do? He seriously blames Ukraine for that.
Then, to make a bad situation worse, after years of criticizing Europe for buying Russian oil and gas, he decides to finance Russiaâs war against Ukraine by making a deal to import Russian diesel before the midterms, despite diesel shortages in Russia with long queues in front of gas stations there.
How is that even possible? Does this make any sense to you?
HS kertoi, ettÀ jo nyt jo yhdeksÀllÀ asuinalueella pÀÀkaupunkiseudulla on enemmistö asukkaista ulkomaalaistaustaisia.
HelsingissĂ€ ItĂ€keskus, Kontula, JakomĂ€ki. Espoossa Suvela, Suurpelto ja Otaniemi. Vantaalla Havukoski, Hakunila ja LĂ€nsimĂ€ki. YhdeksĂ€llĂ€ alueella suomalaisia on enÀÀ alle puolet vĂ€estöstĂ€.Â
Me perussuomalaiset emme pysĂ€hdy emmekÀ vaikene.
Pienituloisuuden kasvu selittyy lĂ€hes kokonaan maahanmuutolla. Julkiset kulut rĂ€jĂ€htĂ€vĂ€t. Kehityksen pÀÀssĂ€ odottaa kaksoiskatastrofi.Â
Me nÀemme Euroopasta jo tÀnÀÀn sen, mikÀ meitÀ huomenna odottaa, ellei huonoa kehitystÀ katkaista. Ranskassa luokkahuoneiden kuumuutta vastaan protestoidaan polttamalla kouluja. Kansankodit muuttuvat klaanikodeiksi. Niin ei saa kÀydÀ Suomessa.
Me olemme saaneet tÀmÀn yhteiskunnan hoidettavaksemme omilta vanhemmiltamme ja isovanhemmiltamme. SitÀ ei saa rikkoa. Sen puolustaminen vaatii rohkeutta, toisinaan jopa poikkeuksellista rohkeutta.  TÀmÀ yhteiskunta, oma rakas Suomi, on meidÀn kotimme. MeillÀ ei ole muuta kotia. PidetÀÀn siitÀ kiinni.
The US Democratic Party repeatedly stabbed Ukraine in the back. The reason Ukraine was invaded by US and Western weakness. The evidence was the disgraceful retreat from Iraq-Obama reneged on an arms deal to Poland which had been agreed to by Bush-it was the Democrats in Congress who went against the wishes of Zelensky not to approve the Russian oil pipeline to Germany. Democrats playing nice, that'll be the day. From 9th month abortion to letting men compete vs women in sport, to denying the English language as the language of the US, to treating illegals better than US citizens, the Democratic Party is not the Democratic Party of years ago. It is a hideous representation of its previous self.
At the @WarsawForum, I asked Democratic Congressman Jim Himes what would change and what would remain the same in US-Europe relations with a new Democratic Administration?
âHimes provided a pretty clear and realistic overview.

The left prefers feelings and beliefs, but facts and data are sometimes worth examining. Shall we?
1. Germany has spent about âŹ400 billion on its âgreenâ energy transition, an unbelievable amount.
2. Higher energy prices have imploded energy-intensive industrial production, costing countless well-paid jobs.
3. By shutting clean nuclear plants while keeping coal and gas, German energy production generates 10 times more emissions than Franceâs. Yep, 10 times more.
4. Production moved to Asia, where the same products generate far more emissions in manufacturing and shipping. A Chinese-built car shipped to Europe causes 70% more emissions than one built in Germany, cement production causes twice as many.
In short, âŹ400bn spent to ruin German industry, destroy jobs, and harm the climate badly. Why do the Germans do this to themselves and the planet?
It's worth remembering that Obama, in 2016, was asked by The Atlantic's neocon editor, @JeffreyGoldberg, why he didn't do more to protect Crimea and E. Ukraine.
Obama said Ukraine is a vital interest to Russia, but not the US, and it'd be insane to risk war with Russia over it.
US has not spent $350B on Ukraine. It has spent $132B, $33B of that is money. The rest is $21B in loans, repaid from frozen Russian assets, $4B in humanitarian aid, and the vast majority, $74B is military equipment.
Half that equipment is new, made in the US. The other half is old stockpile equipment, which soon would have had to be demilitarized at great cost. The replacement equipment is made in the US, so the money stays in the US.
âšMeanwhile, the EU and European countries have spent a combined $271B, more than twice as much as the US.
Palmer Luckey explains why China is advancing so rapidly in technology and why the United States is struggling to keep up đșđžđšđł
âThe reason China is doing so well with advanced technology isnât that they have a lot of people. Itâs that they made a series of decisions that make high-tech companies much faster and much more effective.
They have very low-cost energy. You can complain about all of their coal plants, but the net output is that they have a very, very low cost of energy.
You have a really favorable labor environment. You have a very favorable logistics and supply chain world. You have very favorable laws regarding the extraction and processing of metals, minerals, and rare earths.
People ask me, âPalmer, what can we do to catch up with China?â
I say, âWe need way more energy. Weâre probably going to need to burn a lot more fossil fuels, and weâre probably going to need to relax labor laws.â
And they say, âI want to catch up with China, but I donât want to do any of the things theyâre doing to lead.â
You have to make a choice at some point. Itâs not really possible to say, âI want to win, but Iâm not willing to do anything to do that.ââ
đșđŠ JUST IN: âWhere Is the Air Defense? Where Are the Billions?!â Kyiv Mayor Fires Back at Zelenskyâs Accusations
Vitali Klitschko denies that the Ukrainian capital was poorly prepared for winter. âThatâs not true. And everyone is in shock today,â he declared emotionally in parliament.
Klitschko also demanded answers about what happened to the billions allocated to protect Kyiv from air attacks. He rejected accusations that city authorities were responsible for the heating problems.
Later, in a Telegram post, Klitschko wrote that Kyiv continues to operate, rebuild, repair infrastructure, and keep the city running while the enemy attacks and destroys it day and night.
âMeanwhile, all you hear on TV is that something is wrong in Kyiv, that something hasnât been done properly. You can say whatever you want â you can even blame Klitschko for World War IIIâŠâ the mayor said in his defense, suggesting that the real problem lies not with city authorities but with corruption and internal power struggles.
The UN accused Israel of genocide, and one of the 3 commissioners behind that accusation just admitted, in front of a live audience, that they never independently verified one of the most explosive statistics in their own report.
Chris Sidoti insisted that his commission conducts independent investigations and doesn't simply rely on media reports.
Except paragraph 21 of their official genocide report claims that 83% of those killed in Gaza were civilians. The footnote cites The Guardian.
When asked whether the commission had actually verified that figure, Sidoti admitted:
âNo, we didn't⊠we literally do not know.â
Now watch how this works.
The Guardian publishes a statistic. The UN cites The Guardian. TIME and other media orgs then repeat the statistic while reporting on the UN's genocide findings, giving readers the impression that they're looking at an independently established fact.
The media quotes the UN, the UN quotes the media, and somewhere along the way a newspaper's claim gets transformed into an authoritative finding of international investigators.
This is how information gets laundered. Each new citation adds another layer of credibility without necessarily adding a single piece of independent evidence.
But the commissioner himself admits they never verified the number.
We're talking about an official UN report accusing the Jewish state of the gravest crime in international law, circulated around the world as authoritative evidence, while one of its own authors acknowledges that they literally do not know whether a central statistic they published is accurate.
How many other claims in that report have been through the same process?
Over the past 2 decades Europe's refining capacity dropped by around 25%...because the focus then was on the energy transition, and now it's back to reality. The upstream sector is an essential component of energy security. #OOTT
