@PVHStap Looking back, I have grown so much. I have led whole group activities & worked 1 on 1. I have become a lot more comfortable with being in front of the class & just teaching overall. I really enjoy teaching these ss & watching them grow individually. #edchat#tap2023
@PVHStap A proud moment I had this week was when one student who struggles with subtraction, came up to me and said “Miss Berk I know subtraction now because you taught me”. This made me so happy and made me feel accomplished. #edchat#TAP2023
@PVHStap Today was my first time teaching the whole class. I was given the content seconds before teaching it which gave me no time to prepare. I have found that things won’t go as smoothly as you plan and that teaching a lesson isn’t always going to be perfect. #edchat#tap2023
@PVHStap This week my T started to rely on me a lot more and gave me more leadership roles. I have been in multiple situations where SS felt they could use me as a resource. This makes me so happy because they now are getting more comfortable with me helping them #edchat#tap2023
@PVHStap Something I found rewarding was when I was helping a SS who was struggling on mathseeds. I sat next to her to help when she needed it, she seemed to be getting so many questions right, which she was not expecting. Her eyes lit up and gave me a high five. #edchat#tap2023
@PVHStap A rewarding experience was when I walked in, one SS was very excited to tell me it was the 100 day of school, my teacher let me run a craft station during their celebration. I loved this bc I got to talk w/ SS and got to know each one individually. #edchat#tap2023
@PVHStap A challenging experience I had this week was when a SS was struggling to complete math seeds. She was getting very frustrated and kept closing her computer or played other games. Even after offering to help she still refused. After this the TA helped out #edchat#tap2023
@PVHStap A rewarding experience I had this week was when the SS were playing a math game on the computer. One SS was struggling with adding so I came over to assist him, once he figured out the answer his eyes lit up and he was so happy. This made me so happy. #edchat#tap2023
@PVHStap A rewarding experience I had this week was when I came in SS are in math stations. There were SS on the computers and some SS ask for help right away. It makes me happy knowing they feel comfortable with asking me for help and see me as a teacher figure. #edchat#tap2023
@PVHStap A challenging time this week would be when my TS was handling a situation while in stations. I was running a station but she asked me to take over her station too. It was overwhelming but I handled it pretty well. It was cool seeing the TS led station. #edchat#tap2023
@PVHStap A rewarding experience would be that when I walk into the classroom and the ss are in stations they all get excited knowing I run a station. It makes me feel like a have already made an impact on them. #edchat#tap2023
@PVHStap A rewarding experience was getting to work in a group and actually teaching a mini lesson. I noticed what all SS work at different paces so that’s something I had to keep into consideration. One thing I have to work on is CM while working in small groups #tap2023#edchat
@PVHStap (1) A rewarding time this week was when a student was refusing to do work. I went over and gave her options and she finally chose to work with me on the worksheet. So we sat down at the side table and completed the work. Having a sub all week was tough but I got more of
-do so much. I did my best to take over the class to get everyone’s attention but it was very challenging. After this I have realized that some days are harder then others. #edchat#tap2023
@PVHStap A time that I found challenging was when my class had a sub. The sub could not get a hold of the class and the class was super crazy even after trying multiple ways to get through the lesson. There are multiple students in the class who have aids, but the aids can only
@PVHStap A rewarding experience I had this week was getting the opportunity to run a math station. The kids all wanted to be with me and seeing them understand the math was so amazing, they would get so excited when they got the equation right. #tap2023#edchat
@PVHStap A moment I found challenging was when there was a student who was not listening to the teacher or anyone for that matter. But a rewarding experience was when I then sat down with her and saw that she knew the content and completed her work. #tap2023#edchat
