The unspoken thing here is that the jaw drop is not actually due to the scale of the dust plume but specifically because it is happening in New York. The same video taken in Beirut or Tehran would never get the same reaction from the viewer.

All these words and many others come from Hindi.
Climate grief is real. I feel like I am pre-mourning all that we will lose and mourning everything that is lost already. As I make my coffee and then have a hot shower I think to myself: enjoy this while it lasts. Enjoy the little things, you will need these memories later. When the water is gone.
