There was a magician who came into town. Everywhere he went he would perform some magic tricks. And there was a doctoral student in chemistry who would always sit there and watch. At the end of each trick, the scientist would always say “I know exactly how you did it.”
@chude__ My village is sidebyside Abiriba and I have very close relatives from there. My mother told us stories about how at one point after the war it was a taboo for an Abiriba person to be found begging. The idea was, if you are poor somebody who was doing well will teach you a trade.

I wrote this short reply to some of my friends more than a year before the 2023 elections. Written in a very concise and rational manner.
The joy, brotherliness and fun is palpable amongst the Igbos every Christmas/new year season. There's something divine about how the Igbos all over the world remember home, millions of which find their way back to be with their brethren. IGBOAMAKA

@DorcasChidinma I hate to be right on this, but this is what I've concluded since years ago. We will rather die at home or eat our neighbours than face the politicians who have always been the key problem.
This is our story. And we survived!
After the Nigerian-Biafran civil war, we were infamously given a paltry £20 no matter what you had in your account. We built from almost ground zero and became successful again. We're blessed.

QED: JESUS AND HIS 'BOGUS' CLAIMS
For those who don't know, the resurrection of Christ captures all of what Jesus claims to be.
Jesus was accused of blasphemy because He claimed to be God, of being a charlatan (a deceptive person cunning people for his personal gain), a clout..
The Cross of Jesus Christ teaches us that by putting our faith in Him, sorrow and love can mingle down to joy and glory in our lives, and that suffering in this world is not the end.
