The UK government has sat on the fence 4 years and 6 months, pretending not to know of the international crime committed by the Nigerian government.
#NnamdiKanu, a British citizen was kidnapped in Kenya by the Nigerian government and extraordinaryly renditioned to Nigeria.
UK looked the other way while he was illegally and unjustly convicted.
Not once have you reached out to us (his wife and children) having read our emails, letters, questions, and seeing our public protest.
I hope the below looks familiar.

I am safe & sound but still under custody at Kuje prison. The Magistrate refused to listen to our submissions. He insisted on remanding us till Friday and got his way. For context: Keep in mind that they bypassed several Magistrate courts in town and headed to this one in Kuje.
Free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Now. Consultations are ongoing at the highest levels to secure his release but i think it has come to the point where every Eastern Nigerian influencer and all people of conscience from every part of Nigeria, should damn the consequences and start posting about Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's release! It's not about personal opinions and sentimental considerations. It's about justice that is long overdue - the more you stay silent and condone this insanity, the more the Nigerian state continues to justify this level of impunity for all. Speak up now, even if that's all you can do, and leave the rest for some of us. Silence at this time is not an option. You can't hold a sick man in detention, knowing his health is deteriorating and still refuse to release him. That's unconscionable. That's inhuman. That's barbaric. That's some stone age stuff unfolding before our eyes, at a time that the genocidal killers of Christians are allowed to majestically attend meetings on their own terms with the same Nigerian authorities, without any harm or threat of harm to them. This has got to stop one way or another.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu must be released. And he will be released.
Let's get this done over with.
I have 3 million to spare to anyone who have credible evidence against Nnamdi Kanu from now to December. Let me help the Nigeria government this time as they don't have the evidences
Dear Sowore (@sowore): I hereby step forward to match with you to #AsoRock to ‘peacefully & visibly demand justice’ for MAZI NNAMDI KANU. Who is with me? Ndigbo ahoy!
The continued detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu remains an open sore on our nation’s conscience and a stain on our belief in the rule of law.
Defying court orders that granted him bail is an abuse of power and an assault on justice.
I, therefore, lend my voice in full support of the campaign led by @sowore for his immediate release or due prosecution.
We fail as patriots if we allow Kanu’s case to fester as yet another wound this nation refuses to heal.
