Facts about Little known Mt Ololokwe!
Mt Ololokwe is one of Kenya's most scenic and little known mountains found in Samburu County, it is a striking natural resource as it rises above semi-arid plains.
It is very vital for the people of Samburu as elders normally conduct rituals and prayers seeking for rain, blessings and piece✌️.
It is usually compared to South Africa's Table Mountain due to it's unique flat top scenery rising about 1000 metres above the sea level. It is enriched with towering cliffs and rocks that often attract massive tourism activities and Mountain climbers.
The mountain continues to support a select unique forest trees and bushes at the top which are vital herbal medicine for the Samburu people, birds and some wild animals live there.
It is one of the most photographed landmarks in Kenya die to its geographical location and dramatic appearance.
It is used by travellers on the Isiolo-Marsh bit highway as a landmark while entering Mt Kenya 🇰🇪
