@elonmusk I call it the Emperor’s New Clothes Syndrome, where no one wants to tell the king he’s walking around in his underwear, not the gold brocade everyone else is telling him he’s wearing.
It’s my understanding that a misleading question is sneakier than a leading question. It tries to trick or confuse the witness so they give a wrong or false answer. It often contains a false assumption or twists the facts to mess with the witnesses’ memory or to make them doubt themselves or make them answer a certain way allowing impeachment.
