Volby v Maďarsku byly výjimečné, a to i v evropském kontextu. Staly se předmětem neobyčejného zájmu u voličů, ale i v Evropě a zámoří. O jejich významu svědčí mimořádná volební účast, která byla nejvyšší od pádu komunismu. Lidé volili mezi jasnými alternativami, reprezentovanými Viktorem Orbánem a Péterem Magyarem.

Voliči se vyjádřili pro změnu, jejich vzkaz je jednoznačný. Blahopřeji vítězi voleb Péteru Magyarovi a jeho straně Tisza. Oceňuji rovněž, že Viktor Orbán bez odkladu uznal porážku a oznámil odchod do opozice. V Maďarsku zvítězila demokracie. Lidé si přáli změnu a evropské směřování. Je to dobrá zpráva pro Evropu.
