If Trump does win, one thing you won’t see is Kamala inciting a mob to attack the capitol or denying the election result. I would rather lose on her side than win on his.
@JonathanNJon Criminality, violence, intimidation, mob rule. These weren’t actions of the police or the government. These were the actions of miners, strikers and ‘innocent’ men in the documentary. Speak to people on the receiving end of these attacks as I know the documentary didn’t.
@jojobroom Jo, what about the criminality and violence shown by the miners towards innocent policemen? What about the intimidation and violence shown towards men who crossed the pickets, which is their democratic right to do so? This documentary is a sham. It’s biased crap.
@KyleStanle62589 @alexarmstrong But what makes you right? Criminal actions by anyone is disgraceful. However, you can’t break the law when you want to and say it’s ok. Then everyone would be doing that and it would be anarchy.
@DouglasKMurray So what you’re saying is rather than using our democratic processes, we should make decisions based on violence and intimidation? Douglas I thought you would have thought this through.
@iris_frs No it doesn’t. The far right don’t the democratic way works, which is why they are doing this. Obviously that’s bollocks and they want an excuse. However, we shouldn’t blame the democratic discourse for this violence. If these conversations can’t take place there, where can they?
@KallumCasta@jlancaster0 They want illegal immigrants out of the country but then commit illegal acts themselves. Who says they’re right? We have the rule of law and a democracy for a reason.
@DangerousBria15 There’s no place in Tamworth for criminals and arsonists. They will be dealt with. You excuse violence with such ease. Not sure you would if you were on the receiving end of it.
@alexarmstrong to drive change. These thugs on the street aren’t ‘ordinary’ people. I don’t even believe they care about the issues at hand, they just want to cause trouble.
@alexarmstrong I appreciate that you condemn all violence and criminality. However, feel it’s a bit of a cop out to say that people have been ‘pushed to breaking point’. Thats not a reasonable excuse in a democracy. Most ordinary people use the democratic processes we have in place…
