We don’t know exactly what tomorrow will look like, but we can know who we’ll be looking to... our God whose love is unfailing and whose hand is the safest place to entrust our hope.
He's been faithful before. He'll be faithful again.

Whatever we chase, like it or not, gains our full attention.
Oh Lord, may You be our greatest pursuit. Today and every day.
"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)
If we really want to be like Jesus: Start by being the one who stays when everyone else walks away. Be the one to forgive, even when it’s undeserved. Be the one to show grace when everyone else is casting stones. Be the one to show love, even when they talk about you. Be like him
Today, instead of tying our hope to specific outcomes, let’s tie ourselves to the very heart of God. Because the story He is writing for us is so much better than anything we could write ourselves.

I can’t control the things that happen to me each day, but I can control how I think about them.
I can feel afraid but I don't have to live afraid.
I can feel angry but I don't have to live angry.
I can feel hurt but I don't have to live hurt.
It's my choice.
Sometimes we’re making our way through an ordinary day & realize God has answered a specific prayer. Maybe it occurred quietly & subtly. Maybe we didn’t realize it because it doesn’t look like we expected. But then there it is.
Noticing the presence of God takes my breath away.
