@aidfoundation We have had several stakeholder meetings with them. We have invited them to all of our sensitization programs and have conducted a demonstration of the use of the #EVM for them where they individually tried out using the machine. They were very happy with it. #2018KDLGElections

@aidfoundation The result of the activity at every Polling Unit will be announced at the PU, while the result of the winners will be announced at the collation centers. That is, Ward Collation Center for Councilor and Local Government Collation Center for Chairman. #KadunaLGElections2018

@aidfoundation - At the end of the election, the #EVM will generate a summary of results captured on the machine. This can be verified by physically counting the ballot receipts.

@aidfoundation The #EVM is powered by a battery that can last 16hrs and the #EVMs are all fully charged before movement to the Polling Unit. We have also provided small generators to be deployed to a point of need should a machine battery fail. #KadunaLGElections2018

@aidfoundation -There are several adverts on different media outlets explaining the use of the EVMs. We have also conducted a physical road walk sensitization apart from sharing hand bills, posters and banners. #KadunaLGElections2018

@aidfoundation We have had several sensitization programs where we talked about how to vote on the EVM. We have also conducted demonstrations of the use of the EVM at all 255 Wards of the state and allowed people to try the machine out themselves. #KadunaLGElections2018

- In case they are unable to rapidly rectify the challenge, back-up #EVMs will be available at all of our Local Government offices to be deployed to the point of need. #KadunaLGElections2018

Yes, that’s correct. We lost 140 #EVMs, however we had procured enough #EVMs to cover 6,000 polling units and we only have 5,739 voting points across the state, so even with the loss, we still have enough to cover the state and extra to serve as fall back. #KadunaLGElections2018 https://t.co/7ep16HgSvn
