KADUNA RESIDENTS ARE MOVING WITHOUT PAYING TRANSPORT FARE.

Under Sen. Uba Sani's administration, 100 CNG-powered buses offer free rides across major routes. In the first year, they carried about 3.2 million passengers and saved people more than ₦3.5 billion in fares. Students, traders, civil servants and everyday commuters use them. The free service continues.

KADUNA POLYTECHNIC GETS UPGRADED TO A FEDERAL UNIVERSITY.

President Bola Tinubu has assented to the bill upgrading the Federal Polytechnic, Kaduna, to the Federal University of Technology and Vocational Studies, Kaduna.

This move will strengthen technical education and skills development in Nigeria in general.

Governor Uba Sani Signs Bill Establishing Specialist Nursing College in Rigasa.

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has signed into law the bill establishing the Kaduna State College of Post-Basic Nursing Sciences in Rigasa, Igabi LGA. This bold step will tackle the shortage of specialist nurses and bring better healthcare to communities across the state.

The College will train specialists in midwifery, paediatric nursing, intensive care, accident and emergency, perioperative, psychiatric and mental health, and public health nursing. It will also promote research and partnerships with teaching hospitals and universities, with all programmes accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. The aim is stronger maternal and child care, faster emergency response and better outcomes for patients.

This is part of Governor Uba Sani's people-centred health agenda, which includes upgrading 255 primary healthcare centres and rehabilitating 16 general hospitals. Beyond buildings and equipment, he is investing in the skilled professionals needed to deliver quality care, especially in underserved communities.

Pupils in Biye no longer have to manage with broken classrooms.

L.E.A Biye Primary School in Giwa LGA has been rehabilitated. Three classroom blocks with offices have been fixed. A new block comprising two classrooms, an office and a storage room has also been constructed. Furniture supplied. Borehole drilled. VIP toilets constructed.

Governor Uba Sani’s commitment to the welfare of pensioners continues to receive strong commendation from the Nigeria Union of Pensioners.

With the recent release of ₦3.959 billion for pension arrears, gratuity and death benefits, the administration’s total payment has reached ₦21.455 billion, benefiting 9,683 retirees and families.

Today, pensioners in Kaduna receive their payments at the same time as serving civil servants, ending the prolonged delays of the past.
