Also, just to clarify, a full rework for 1x1x1x1 is already planned. The recent rebalance isn't meant to replace that rework, but rather to improve his current gameplay and make him less frustrating to play against in the meantime.
The goal is to address some of the issues with his existing kit as we continue moving forward with his full rework, rather than leaving those issues untouched until then.
Hey everyone, I just wanted to say a few things regarding the recent public testing for the 1x and Sixer rebalances.
I want to remind everyone that the entire purpose of public testing is to be more transparent with balancing changes and, most importantly, gather feedback from the community before making any final decisions. Nothing being tested is guaranteed to make it into the main game, and everything is still subject to change depending on the feedback we receive.
I understand that not everyone is going to agree with every change we make, and that's completely fine. I genuinely appreciate criticism, whether positive or negative, as long as it's constructive. Finding a middle ground that everyone can enjoy isn't always easy, but that's exactly why we want to give everyone the opportunity to try these changes and share their thoughts.
The only thing I really ask is that people please keep things respectful. The amount of harassment, personal attacks, death threats, and people outright telling me to kill myself over these past few days has been incredibly overwhelming and demotivating, and it's genuinely been taking a toll on my mental health.
I absolutely understand being frustrated with certain changes, but there's a difference between criticizing something you dislike and personally attacking the people working on it.
At the end of the day, we're all trying our best to make the game more enjoyable for everyone. That's why testing and feedback are so important, and why I want to make sure the community has a chance to be involved in the process before anything is finalized.
Please don't hesitate to share your thoughts, even if you completely disagree with something we've done. Just remember that there are actual people behind these changes too.
Thank you to everyone who's been taking the time to properly test things and provide feedback. It genuinely means a lot.
