@Zamanywd Yatra routes pass through us, pilgrim inflows halt, our economy takes a hit, security restrictions tighten, even the narrative outside J&K paints the whole region as ‘unsafe.’ So yes, Kashmir bleeds at the epicenter, but Jammu isn’t sitting in some bubble sipping tea unaffected.
2025 tested Jammu like never before 💔We’ve seen terror in Pahalgam, floods in Kishtwar, cloudbursts in Doda, landslides in Reasi & Poonch, even bridges collapsing. Each tragedy left behind stories of loss, courage, and endless prayers. We cried, we prayed, we held on. ⛈️ #jammu
@Zamanywd Are events in Pahalgam don’t happen in https://t.co/oIWAcC8uMn may geographically be in kashmir, bt pretending it has 0 effect on Jmmu is jst naive. Every disruption there-be it militancy, yatras, tourism setbacks, or clampdowns-directly ripples into Jammu.
@Zamanywd I literally wrote from the perspective of my own region, adding incidents that directly impacted Jammu. Why does that trigger you so much?
If you’re still dragging this, toh only want to say-‘Samajhdaar ko ishara kaafi hai, bewakoof ke liye pura granth bhi kam hai’. End
@Zamanywd Arey🤦🏻♀️ Basic common sense: Jammu speaking about its pain doesn’t mean others were enjoying. You keep spinning the same line-‘not only Jammu suffered.’ Who denied that? I wrote for my area, just like anyone else would.
@Zamanywd Pahalgam was in Kashmir, yes, but why does acknowledging Jammu’s pain trigger you so much? Suffering isn’t a scoreboard. I speak of what I’ve seen here, you can speak of what you’ve seen there-simple. Speaking of Jammu’s reality isn’t the same as denying Kashmir’s. Learn the diff
@Zamanywd Kindly read what I wrote first instead of twisting it. I never said Kashmir was ‘okay’ or that others didn’t face it. Jammu has its own ground realities and lived suffering—that doesn’t get erased just because Punjab or Kashmir also suffered.
@_mocking_bird__ And yes Insta & X pe gyaan dene se pehle khud ek baar history ki kitab khol lo.Maybe try opening an actual history book. So Keep your WhatsApp wisdom to yourself. Abyway, I’ve got better things to do than argue in circles.. not as vella as you to drag this on.
@_mocking_bird__ Fun fact for you too: Jammu existed long before your ‘rasiyat-e-poonch’ fairytale. Ever heard of Raja Jambu Lochan? He founded Jammu centuries ago while Poonch was a jagir under Dogra rulers. 1947 ke ‘if’ aur ‘but’ pe rehna hai toh chale jao alternate reality ke museum mein.
@_mocking_bird__ Fun fact : Pir Panjal divides Jammu Hills and Kashmir Valley. Poonch & Rajouri ,doda fall in Jammu. Stop arguing with facts. You can fact check.
@Zamanywd Where did I ever say Kashmir is ‘okay’? This obsession with ‘our suffering is greater’ is exhausting.Suffering isn’t a competition.Jmmu has its own realities, and they matter just as much. I speak up about wat I know you do the same. So why force me to write what I don’t need to
@shaykhsphere Jammu isn’t Kashmir’s sidekick-it’s a region with its own pride, history, and voice. Standalone, just like Kashmir thinks it is. What’s w this obsession of glorifying suffering-we suffer more, we do more?Suffering isn’t a competition. It doesn’t need to be compared w anyone.
@_mocking_bird__ Jammu, poonch, rajouri all are part of J&K — no need to keep separating it like it’s some outsider. Pain didn’t need your footnotes, and neither do we. You sound more concerned about district than deaths. Maybe compassion got lost somewhere on your map?
@shaykhsphere Obsession? No. It’s called existing in a land where every year writes a new obituary. Sorry if that reality offends your map. Plus last I checked, it’s Jammu & Kashmir, not ‘Jammu vs Kashmir’. Again For clarity: J&K is one UT. Jammu & Kashmir aren’t separate countries.🤦🏻♀️
@Zamanywd You sound more concerned about coordinates than coffins. Maybe compassion got lost somewhere on your map? When I said Jammu, I meant the broader region of J&K that we belong to.Please fact check how many drone attacks happened over jammu due to pahalgam incident.
The sound of rain hasn’t stopped since last night, and neither has the fear. Every drop of rain since last night feels heavier. Continuous rains, tawi in full rage, bridge collapsed. Cant explain how helpless it feels, Jammu isn’t just facing water, it’s facing fear. #jammu#tawi
