Honestly, big ups to those with relatives, uncles, aunties and parents in the election. From all parties/independents.
It can't be easy sitting by reading some of the commentary. You guys have a greater threshold of patience than me that's for sure 😂
Malo lava le onosa'i 🙏🏽
It's a messy time in Samoan politics but I gotta say, it really is nice that voters now have an abundance of options to choose from, and that we are also seeing a real proactive and sustained effort from parties to centre voters' wants and needs in a way I haven't seen before.
@KaisarinaS I do actually agree with this, because when designing, I never ever imagined this level of “creativity” 😩
I finally understand why my office operates on a “low trust” model 🤣
@KaisarinaS When you go thru EIS there’s a lot of yes or no qs if you have docs for this&that before it allows you thru to the next section. What I’m struggling to understand is how people lying with their selections in hopes of shortcutn the process is a failure on OEC’s part
@KaisarinaS Actually no. Most of the uploads were of a single document (BC) and then the SN would come in to sign the SD or form to verify the person is the owner of the BC during biometric capture, meaning we still had to do PB with the online? Ergo defeating the purpose of online reg?
@KaisarinaS Filling out an application online, knowing you don’t have any of the docs and then expect the bring in part of the paper based just wreaked havoc so idk how separating the processes (paper based & online) is seen as failing
@KaisarinaS EIS is tailored for voters that has documents on hand to register. 97% of online reg are actually locals. By law, SDs have to be signed in front of an OEC rep which is why we spent over a year going out to the communities twice doing paper based and SD is part of the paper based
