@xMBGx His not wrong you have more people that would prefer consoles. At work I know 10 - 15 people that game probably 3 or 4 play on PC. Hell some of them don't even own a desktop they do anything off a laptop, tablet or their own phone. But in the end you need both consoles & PC.

@xMBGx I'll probably stick to the PS5, my PC & switch for a while before I upgrade to the PS6. To move to XB which is rumored to be more expensive would be stupid of me. I'll probably buy the PS handheld Since that would be the cheapest option. Also PC prices are also going insanely up.

@RinoTheBouncer This is the right step for us but not just for games but all digital media need this. You own it whether you want it you buy it physically or digital.

@xMBGx Interested for the PS6 but more excited to get more info on the PS handheld. Helix does nothing for me since all XB games I can play them on my PC. If the games were true XB console only exclusives and not on PC it'll be on the same level as the PS6.

@xMBGx Nope last physical disc game I had was the PS4 copy of final fantasy 7 remake.

@CorpoScum I see Amy Hennig in the same way I see Jade Raymond. They did amazing work during the PS3/XB360 era. But they haven't done anything for the gaming industry since that era. All they done lately is jump studio to studio, cancel game or studio closer.

@RinoTheBouncer Probably the deal that they did with bandai namco has worked out for them. this could work out with small studios but not just for Sony but also for MS with their smaller IPs.

@RinoTheBouncer I don't see this has only a Sony thing but the whole gaming industry including us the fans. We made gaming to what it has become and we are in the dark times. In the end gaming is going to change no matter what, we can fight to get laws put in place for physical & digital world.

@LikeToBeBossy Sadly it's going to take XB more than 1 generation to get back into fighting conditions like during the XB360 era. They are doing a great job setting themselves up to succeed next gene. But we still don't know what will happen with next layoffs planed this year & future years.

@LegacyKillaHD Yes Sony Fumble but it's not going to be any better for him under XB. Especially since he still hasn't released "OD" & now MS is going to keep an eye him & both games and expect results & high ROI from "OD" which sadly "Physint" is going to be dependent on it.

@champlobbies If physint is over budget this early in development. Than I'm 100% OD is extremely over budget also and if or when it ships MS/XB is going to keep a close eye on it.

@xMBGx It's not good from our POV we don't know what was happening BTS. We don't know if he was going over budget, asking for more & S didn't want to invest more. XB & S have been cutting back on these style of investments. I don't think this going to be the last crazy news of the year.

@RinoTheBouncer It's a stupid move on Sony side but we don't know what truly is happening behind the scenes. It's the same for XB when they done the same this past year. I'm still won't be buying the next xb because can get this game on PC if it doesn't come to PS.

@RinoTheBouncer We should have move away from PD media a long time ago. Disc media for gaming has hit its limits last gen. We should be looking at memory cards or SSD for physical media for gaming. We do need to fight to make sure we get rules/laws in place in this digital world 4 us consumers.

@xMBGx Sorry but us that still think we should have some type of physical media we are a small %. A large % of regular gamers have already switched to all digital because it's easier & cheaper for them. I only get a physical game along with digital if I really want the SE.

@xMBGx Because it's not 2028 yet and they are still selling PS5 with the disc drive. If anything what will show Sony that people want physical disc to stay. People need to make sure physical games start selling a lot more now compared to before not just some games but all of them.

@xMBGx Jim Ryan is the main reason Sony is in the position they are in right now. It's going to take years before PS gets back to how they were before.

@Colteastwood You know what's disgusting that everything else especially essential stuff is going up in prices. So no Sony has no other choice I won't be surprised if we see MS & Nintendo follow soon. Along with every other company on this planet.
