@ThePhysicsMemes@ArfatXeon@stonderlor64239@martinmbauer This is such a physics-brained way of framing it. While approximations like that can certainly be useful in applied situations like some physical ones, they are essentially unrelated to integrals in mathematics.
@OldSchoolRS@OldSchoolRS For whatever reason, buying the Colossal Worm teleport scroll from Worm Tongue doesn't seem to unlock the collection log slot; is there another way to obtain it that's intended for that instead?
@OldSchoolRS Honest I'm still a bit sad to see favour entirely gone instead of just reworked to be less tedious. But this update looks amazing still!
Sad to see leagues go too, I had a ton of fun!
@JagexAsh@Barrowsboyoncb I can't speak for op, but for me that usually happens because I afk it while I'm cutting down the tree, and by the time I come back it has regrown. 100% my own fault but can still be annoying!
Hi @JagexAsh, how are you?
With the new Jagex accounts, do you know if there's any plan to introduce a way to easily switch characters on the mobile app (similar to the drop-down in the desktop launcher)?
I know they're still in beta, so maybe it's already planned!
@MrMezMorris @OciamN@OldSchoolRS Yeah 100%. This way if something goes wrong it's all hands on deck instead of just a few people who are on call if something happens overnight
@Messereth1337@Nalamorr@CosmicMatt92@OldSchoolRS All I'm saying is that in my experience in tech, this is an extremely normal way to communicate during an outage, as you don't always have a full idea of impact. You can still be annoyed that there's an outage, and feel entitled to compensation for the time it was unavailable.
@Nalamorr@Messereth1337@CosmicMatt92@OldSchoolRS Poor phrasing on my part. I just meant I wouldn't expect anyone to be expected to help with work at 5AM on their day off when they're not on call, and the worst case scenario is that people can't play a video game for a few hours.
@Messereth1337@CosmicMatt92@OldSchoolRS This is pretty normal. Sometimes things just take longer than expected. Status updates are kept deliberately vague to avoid making promises that they'll then have to walk back, because people will get mad. Also engineers are more focused on fixing than updating the comms teams.
