@RickRunGood@Skratch@TheSecondCutPod@therealGFD Hey rick, did you use each players average odds to win or the actual closing line each week? E.g. Scottie was 4.2/1 for each of his wins or did you math out that sometimes he was 3.5/1 sometimes he was 5.5/1 and so on.
@FixnBones@KipHenley like a lot of internet arguments both are true. based off both rolls, the true read was outside left. TF started inside left which probably hits low side lip w/o the bump but with the bump misses the hole entirely. KB plays outside left, gets a true roll and ends up center cut
@stl_dave@declans31917@Mike_kim714 I think heโs asking about Rory and Shane finishing 1 and 2 this week and how Ireland generally outperforms its size in golf. But agreed not very clear
@jeff_montery@oscarstolemycan@acaseofthegolf1 Maybe an anecdotal example will help, Im a tourney player w/ amateur status and plan to keep it forever with the intention of playing in things I can compete in and win - ranging from city championships to USGA events. I would have to pull a Dunlap to ever consider turning pro
Had my second tournament round of the season. Some good and some rust.
Missed a two-footer on the first hole for par (the first of four 3-putts).
Then made a triple on the 5th.
My heart rate speeds up, I feel a little sweaty, and everything goes fast in my head. Negative thoughts swirling around as I walk to the next tee box.
Reminded myself this isn't the first time it's happened. Take a deep breath, forgive myself, and commit to battling it out.
That's all I can do.
Turned it around and had a ton of great looks at birdie. Made a couple of them.
Some three putts later in the round, but I was proud that I hung in there and made it to match play tomorrow.
Still finding my way early in the year since I didn't hit many balls over the winter due to my elbow, but it's starting to hurt less, and cautiously excited about that.
Anyway, I just want everyone to know that I make mistakes, get nervous, and feel panicked at times. I try to hold myself to the same standards as the advice I give to others.
Golf is a beautiful battle at times ๐โณ๏ธ๐คช
@jamierkennedy when the stimpmeter is flush with sloped ground it screws up the whole experiment. this is being presented as if someone hit 2 putts with the same weight but if you watch the ball roll off the metal both times the second is going so much slower before it ever touches grass
Brian Harman with a clutch af chip in in what's looking like the swing match and I get to bear witness on a 4 square inch Playing Through Window. Thank you so much...
