@Mortaine_MG I somehow have faith in blizzard to give warrior another rage source.
I really want to see what the class will be like after some more changes. Anything other than the class that is really good in raids but sucks until then.
@elvenmaidinn Oh damn, I thought that was 4e, whoops. Saw wfrp and got excited without even properly looking.
My friends and I checked the Cubicle 7 games and they seem very... simple? If you are into that. Thats about all I can say about them.
@elvenmaidinn ...turns while the combat ends around you is the scenario that comes to mind. Complaints aside, it does seem more streamlined and easier to work with, and the supplements seem nice, and will hopefully reach 2e's level of variety.
@elvenmaidinn ...choices like the advantage system which I feel is very easy to fuck up and properly keep track of in actual play. Spellcasting also has like 3 versions that I have seen and I am conflicted on them, though Id have to see them in play. Sitting around gathering power for 3...
@DeeDos1418@MachDominus Straight up GW won't let them. Unless I am mistaken, they did talk about this, and said it's the reason why we're never getting chaos skins for operations.
@DoomerCoomer I think the issues is that people desperately want a clear cut good option with no real consequences.
Even though you spend the first third of the game playing as one of these 'fake, soulless' people just to drive the tragedy of the situation home.
@TGrudges I hope we get their AoS version, the hypothetical ulgurothi. Since they are mentioned and everything, Tyrion fighting them. On the chance we do, I doubt they're gonna be the same army as DoK tho.
@QuiteShallow I simply trust Owlcat to deliver a good game.
I also trust Owlcat to take at least four months after launch to completely fix the apocalyptic bugs the game will be released with.
@TGrudges I personally like them. The sisters of slaughter and witch elves are still around as their usual, not to mention the medusae and the flying ones.
It adds more variety, and I have been expecting something more armored, since they are a whole ass society now, not just a side-cult.
@Combinecommando@MrYGuy2 I mean, to be entirely honest, I'd be cool with the activism if the story and characters were good to bear the weight. It's nothing I haven't seen before.
Just... not like this.
(Speaking purely about the first game.)
@BayesianPenguin @Atem_Aero@ShitpostRock What are you talking about man?
The first third of the game is literally from the perspective of one of them.
Are you doing a bit, or are you just that desperate to accept the simplest answer that takes the 'hard' out of the hard decision part?
@LavenderGhast I like their subtler totalitarian oppressive regime, and I like the blue man's burden thing they got going on.
Too bad a lot of fans I try to interact with are either desperate for them to be the good guys, sad communists, or both.
@LavenderGhast I do like the T'au, however. I view them as an earlier humanity equivalent. They can't go around and exterminate other species like the imperium, because they can't *afford* to. I see their actions as based on necessity and pragmatism, certainly not morals.
