0. With Kyrie, Joe Harris, Bron, AD and an athletic big to protect the rim, lakers will be unbeatable. You have 3 of the most offensively skilled players in nba history and also 3 of the best scorers in nba history also
@omarshamout@AllenSliwa Jeanie is loyal to a fault…but you hit the nail on the head, trading Russ is not goin to solve the problem, the roster was not constructed well at all and whatever Russ and those picks brings back isn’t going to move the needle enough to make mortgaging the future worth it
Rotation when we get healthy should be
Dennis
Lonnie
Reaves
LeBron
AD
Russ
Pat Bev
Troy Brown Jr
JTA
Thomas Bryant
Other: (Wenyen, Nunn, Ryan)
Out: Damian
You need another guy to create his own shot tho, not just Bron. That’s where you get Kyrie and bring him in the picture next to Bron as another guy who can create his own shot. Bron is doing too much right now
@kai11x2 We don’t need Kyrie, he’s too stupid to be a Laker!! A little more focus on everybody’s part shooting shots especially foul shooting!!! Matt Ryan can shoot turn him loose!!
2002-03 Lakers were 2-6 through 8 games and made the playoffs. Lot of time left but once the Lakers make the necessary trade to get shooting (Kyrie) & big help next to AD, I like my chances
Nah I’m trading Russ. Just bc he’s had a good few games don’t mean anything to me. He’s better off elsewhere with free reign all by himself. I’d rather have Kyrie over Russ any day of the week. Yes Ik Kyrie needs to be on his best behavior if he wants to be a Laker
Anthony Davis put the onus on himself after scoring just 2 points in the second half on four shots: "(I need to be) demanding the ball. Had some good looks, missed them. I can’t allow myself to go four, five or six minutes without getting a shot, whether I start hot or not."
Yea that’s why I’m not worried early in the season it’s only 8 games in. Lakers will round into form when they need to. They just need a big, some more defense & Kyrie (if Brooklyn trades him & is on his best behavior). Again we gon see what happens after Kai’s suspension is up
@kai11x2 Yeah it's only 3 weeks in. Film will catch up to them. In a few weeks teams will play Markkanen way different than now. The Jazz bigs are playing both way in paint and on perimeter. But scouting is going to make them choose one in a month or so.
LeBron James, asked by @mcten about Kyrie Irving, said he doesn’t condone any hate of any kind. He says he loves Kyrie, but: “I believe what Kyrie did caused some harm to a lot of people.” He hopes Kyrie understands that.
I don’t see Utah in the playoffs. I just don’t. They’re rebuilding and they’re going to tank for the French kid whether it’s later in the season or what not. Still early in the season
Gonna be nice to see how the Jazz concept works come post season. They play a team game, but in the playoffs you gotta have a possession dog. I don't think Markkanen can carry them like that.
Also AD needs to be aggressive more in the second half. Disengaged after having a great first half. Need to get on him for not playing 2 complete halves and dominating. 22 is unacceptable. He needs to give me close to 30 every night to dominate. Haven’t seen that yet
@kai11x2 I don't know what Brooklyn wants to do, we'll see what happens if he sits more than 5 games. But yeah the refs have called basically nothing for LeBron all year
