Trouble is not going to come near you. Why? You’re in the shelter of the Most High. He has you covered. He’s covered your health, covered your marriage, covered your children, covered your finances, covered your dreams.
Quit worrying; quit losing sleep. God has you in the palm of His hand. He never asked you to figure out the how. In fact, the scripture says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.”
The reason it’s taking a long time for you is because what you’re carrying is not something small. You’re about to give birth to something that you didn’t know was in you. God’s about to open a door that you didn’t see coming.
A storm cannot stop what God has purposed. You may be in a situation that doesn’t look good, it would stop most people, but it can’t stop you. You have a purpose; you have an assignment. There is a calling on your life, something God has ordained for you to accomplish.
Your time is coming. God has not forgotten what He promised you. Your mistakes didn’t cancel your destiny; people not being for you hasn’t stopped His plan.
You can be at peace with your scars. Nothing you’ve done is a surprise to God. He knew every mistake you would make. He knew every time you’d go the wrong way. He wouldn’t have allowed it if it was going to keep you from your purpose.
There’s a freedom when you can go to God knowing that He doesn’t judge you. God doesn’t condemn you. He’s not finding fault. He has mercy for every mistake, grace for every weakness, faith for every fear.
When you have doubts, questions, don’t get down on yourself. God’s not disappointed in you. You don’t have to have everything figured out. When you’re honest with God about your doubts, your shortcomings, your fears, that’s not weakness; that’s strength.
As good as the people are in your life, there are no perfect people. There is no perfect boss, no perfect friend, no perfect neighbor, no perfect spouse. Give people room to be human.
