@DeAngelisCorey correction:
The Chicago Teachers Union cites one teacher regarding a recent editorial by the Chicago Tribune, which uses misogynistic language in its inaccurate portrayal of a 77-88% female workforce.
@DeAngelisCorey 10% of 190 days is 19, not 10.
Is the Tribune editorial board frothing so furiously at the mouth that it confused 10 days for 10%?
As to your oft-used demand/slogan:
Defund teachers unions as in teachers should stop paying for them?

@lynnsdavenport@DiegoBernalTX@teainfo@GregAbbott_TX@MikeMorath As a US citizen, I expect that federal funds are accepted, unless the strings & hoops are extreme.
The state surplus should have given teacher salaries a much-needed boost.
TEA run by the likes of Mike Morath is an argument for fed intervention - if only Sec Cardona cared.
@HISDSupe I’m sure “HISD Dyad coordinators and community consultants” are completely objective.
What do district Fine Arts directors & certified fine arts teachers say?
(also, your link doesn’t work - where did it lead?)
If it’s so great to have “Dyad” versions of programs taught by certified teachers, why not just have hourly contractors teach ALL HISD classes?
Mike Miles @hisdsupe doesn’t understand arts education, belittles it, ignores all research, dangles supposed int’l trips to sell dYaD
@laurenrocco The kids don’t get any of the skimmed money/profit, either - & charters pay teachers even less than public!
This has long been a reason teachers have been portrayed horribly. In the past, people would have been repulsed by the teacher abuse, blame, & victimization common now
@AKarabachi@elonmusk Agreed, but your beloved Trump & the R’s have had a bigger hand in the Monsanto horrors. (Not that either part or POTUS is excused!)
