As you know, the original developers of Gomu were not transparent from the beginning of Gomu's journey. What we initially thought was that they only had less than 1% of the supply, but it turns out they actually had 10%+ (120 million+ $gomu) of the supply, as one of our community members informed us about.

In connection with this, we tried to negotiate with the OG developers so that Gomu as a project could acquire the remaining supply amounting to 64,251,694 $gomu as funds to be used for Gomu-related matters, especially marketing.

After negotiations, mods & admiral successfully obtained the supply amounting to 64,251,694, and this Gomu supply was transferred to this wallet:

a wallet fully controlled by @admiralfinest. Then, each mod & raider who has helped Gomu from day one was compensated with 388,888 $gomu and distributed among 17 people.

With this, the journey of Gomu begins anew. A new team consisting of community leaders, and well-known advisors in the space such as @naps000 , @solana_sailor , @Crayola_Capital , will assist @admiralfinest , who leads the creative aspect, in expanding and developing Gomu, especially the Web 2 IP that he has created.

And with this announcement, Gomu will rebrand to be fully cartoon / web2 IP with many considerations, especially regarding the OG Gomu IP / photo used as the Gomu mascot.

Focusing the Gomu brand and IP will facilitate Gomu's journey in the future in any aspect.
