T.V. critic Jung Seok-hee has praised the casting of KAI in the talk-show 'Uh, but Like, Seriously!'
"The best thing this program did was hiring EXO member KAI... His appearance on 'Salon Drip' made me think, 'He has a true talent for variety.' He was very bright, cheerful, and positive. He also took over 'Jeongwaja', a role where he has to travel to universities and bring out stories from ordinary people. He does this extremely well, he's perfectly suited to it. He even handles product placements smoothly... I wonder if the 'But Seriously' PDs scouted him after seeing 'Jeongwaja'? [The other hosts] are seniors of different genres and could be difficult to deal with, yet he balances with them skillfully. Without looking rushed, he sits observing everything and then casually throws out a remark here and there. It is innate variety talent. That is not something you can get through practice or effort."
