Tonight I had the privilege of hosting 14 amazing student leaders. The theme was JAMMIES. We had family dinner, exchanged gifts and laughed a lot. And most importantly, we got to tell each other how important we are to one another and the ❤️ was palpable.

It. Was. Everything.

WARNING : IN MY FEELS

Fall 2018 was HARD at Whitmer HS. We lost 3 students to death in the first 60 days. All were unexpected, all were beloved friends and the losses were brutal on our kids, on our staff, on everyone. It set a tone of grief that was hard to shake.
